Liana stood before the control panel, taunting Rhett with a defiant glare. Rhett remained calm, his expression showed no sign of panic–only an aching sorrow!

He knew all too well that if he chose to press that button, Liana wouldn’t be able to hold him back, even if it required him to pay the price. But he continued to engage with Liana, entangling her in battle as he wanted to communicate his innermost thoughts through their fight.

At this moment, realizing that Liana’s resentment ran far deeper than he had ever imagined, he knew that persuading her to align with him was now an impossible task!

At the very least, she would remain unwavering in her rejection of his values, refusing to concede even an inch until he proved his strength by defeating her.

“Force can never secure anyone’s loyalty!” Rhett said firmly, “So it’s not just me. Even if the Holy Trinity joined forces, they still wouldn’t be able to quell Saintess‘ yearning for freedom and love!”

Liana sneered. “Hmph, a coward’s pathetic excuse for himself!”

“Liana, I don’t wish to explain any further, nor will I hold back any longer. If you’re determined to obstruct me, then for the sake of Alliance and everyone’s freedom, I must defeat you, even if it requires inflicting harm!”

Rhett issued a stern warning!

“Hmph, I’m well–acquainted with all your abilities and moves. Do you really think this will intimidate me?” Liana said as she remained dismissive.

He was done with words. Without a further glance, he squatted down and assumed a ready stance for his move. She instantly clenched her teeth as she furrowed her brows. She realized with frustration that she had never seen that move before. By the time she had a sudden insight into its nature, it was already too late!

“The time–honored secret move of Holy Guardian–Blood shadow Electric Drill!” Rhett let out a battle cry as he soared into the air, and his cloak billowed dramatically. In an instant, his entire form was completely obscured beneath the blood–red cloak.

A violent storm of rage erupted, engulfing Liana in its chaotic fury. She had already lost the advantage. Even though she managed to escape, the equipment behind her was doomed to destruction!

In reality, both siblings understood that whether the device was activated by pressing the button or destroyed outright, the outcome would be the same.

Of course, Liana had no chance of escaping either!

From beneath the swirling cloak, an explosive kick suddenly struck out.

Liana threw herself into a full defense, but her hands were instantly numbed by the force of the impact. The Electric Drill seemed as if it truly crackled with electricity!

To Rhett’s surprise, Emmanuel’s voice came through the equipment and reached him clearly. Though he longed for rest, he was compelled to scan his surroundings once more.

“I’m currently stationed in the central tower, where I have a clear view of your fight. Congratulations on your triumph! Well done!”

Feel’s words, Rhett’s lip curled into faint smile. He rose into his feet approached the conference equipment and pressed the button asking, does this mean you’ve defeated the Queen of the Dark Nightstands?

Yeah, it is a fierce battle with significant casualties. But we’ve successfully secured the central tower” Emmanuel replied.

Emmanuel’s words struck the guardians of the four bases–Northern, Southern, Easter, and Western–like a thunderclap!

The expressions of the four individuals varied significantly!

Liana had completely lost faith. Her eyes were filled with a forlorn emptiness and despair, and she was consumed by profound anguish.

Rhett smiled again as he said, “As expected of you! I know I haven’t placed my trust in the wrong person!”

Emmanuel’s voice came through again “But the war is far from over! Victory is still not secured, The Eastern, Western, and Northern bases are still engaged in fierce battles. We may need to provide further support.”

Rhett fell silent immediately. Although there were still over 1 hour and 40 minutes until six o’clock, and he could theoretically reach the eastern or western base within an hour on horseback, his current state made it unlikely that he could defeat any of the guardian.

“Head to the western region to assist Xan!” Emmanuel ordered Rhett, his voice resolute as he issued the command.

He continued, “I’ll immediately make my way to Eastern Isles to support Quintus!”

He added urgently, “Xan and Quintus, can you hear us? If you get the chance, escape from your rooms!”
