Dragon Raja 5

“If you have a friend, a friend who once risked his life for you,” crow chose his words carefully, “and he recently did something very offensive and ran away from his hometown to ask for your help. But some people told you that he has changed and become ruthless, and that helping him will only bring trouble to yourself and will not be good for him…”

“A man’s path is made by himself! A man’s life is in his own hands! Why talk so much nonsense with irrelevant people?” Father Saeki interrupted directly.

This is exactly how Father Saeki speaks, always so tough and domineering, holding high the banner of manliness.

Crow has been listening to his father telling such golden sentences since he was a child, such as “Only dead men can go with the flow”, “When the wind blows, it is the right time to exercise a man’s muscles and bones”, “A man’s only support is himself”, etc.

When he was a child, he always got excited after hearing it, but when he grew up and thought about it carefully, he actually didn’t understand what it meant.

The crow thought to himself that he was really out of his mind. How could he ask a small town thug about the big question of whether the world would be destroyed?

But the scene of that night in the robatayaki shop suddenly appeared in front of his eyes. The bright firelight illuminated Lu Mingfei’s face, which was still a little childish but inexplicably old.

He said, “If you die and don’t know what you are, what will be written on your tombstone?”

“I remembered the third thing! When you go out to do bad things, you must be fully prepared! You must wear a bulletproof vest!” After saying this, his dad hung up the phone.

Crow sighed into the phone, thinking that his father’s Alzheimer’s disease was getting worse and worse. He had to find a better doctor for him after finishing this matter.

It’s late at night at the airport outside Tokyo.

The light from the ground lamp outlined the runway, and Lancelot and Fujiwara Nobunosuke stood at the end of the runway.

It was just a small cargo airport, unlike larger ones like Narita and Haneda, and it was completely deserted at night. Lancelot glanced down at his luminous watch. It was almost the appointed time, and a low humming sound echoed from the northern night sky.

It was a small cargo plane. Lancelot raised the flashlight in his hand and sent out three long and two short signals into the air. The cargo plane then rushed down with the momentum of a suicide crash, leaving a black dust trail two people high on the cinder runway. It did not stop until it rushed in front of Lancelot and the others.

Nine out of ten pilots from Cassel Academy have this kind of aura.

Lancelot, prepared, raised the folder in his hand to shield his face, but Fujiwara Nobunosuke was hit with coal dust. By the time he wiped the coal dust off his face, Lancelot and the pilot had already signed the handover documents.

“Did you have a smooth journey?” Lancelot asked indifferently.

“Of course it went smoothly. If it didn’t, you wouldn’t be able to see me.” The pilot shrugged.

The door of the cargo hold slowly lowered, and Lancelot walked in with a solemn expression. Fujiwara Nobunosuke stuck his head in to look, but the cargo hold was foggy and cold, and he couldn’t see anything.

A moment later, Lancelot emerged from the cabin carrying a heavy box and approached Fujiwara Nobunosuke. The two exchanged glances and simultaneously verified their irises and fingerprints. This box was so important that it required simultaneous verification by both the Academy Agent and the mission leader before it could be opened.

The lid of the box popped open automatically, revealing another box inside.

A long, dark gold metal box, intricately carved with patterns, looked like some kind of artifact, yet it looked incredibly new.

Lancelot twisted a corner of the box hard, and the top of the box opened. The mechanism inside the box started to work, and spit out seven sharp blades of different shapes. As soon as these weapons came out of the box, they immediately emitted a low breathing sound, which was breathtaking.

“Oh!” Fujiwara Nobunosuke widened his eyes in surprise, “This is…”

“Alchemical swords forged by the Lord of Bronze and Fire, the Seven Deadly Sins.” Lancelot’s fingers gently brushed across the hilts. “Caesar’s words can draw out arrogance, Abbas can draw out jealousy. I’m not as good as them, I can only draw out lust and gluttony.”

The swords vibrated and roared in their cases, the scales on their hilts opening and closing automatically like seven bound dragons. Lancelot could clearly sense that he could control the two relatively light swords, while the other five resisted. When his fingers touched them, they felt either extremely hot or extremely cold. Two of them even felt like grasping exposed high-voltage wires.

It’s hard to imagine what it would feel like to grasp their handles; they truly are a set of unruly swords.

“Is this the legendary weapon that can kill the Dragon King?” Fujiwara Nobunosuke’s eyes lit up.

“It should have been successful in Lu Mingfei’s hands, but the effect in my hands has not been verified yet.” Lancelot closed the box and put the seven deadly sins on his back.

The swords in the box roared for a moment and then returned to silence. It seemed that the intricately designed sheath was used to suppress these swords.

“Unload.” He said to Fujiwara Nobunosuke.

Fujiwara Nobunosuke immediately turned on the flashlight in his hand and waved it towards the grass on the side of the runway.
