Dragon Raja 5; Chapter 348: For Your Majesty (163)

Dragon Raja 5

Christina stared blankly at Chu Zihang, her nostrils flaring as she strained to smell the blood, as if it were a potent, strong wine.

Before her second incubation, she had severely injured Chu Zihang, but at that time she did not have a strong reaction to Chu Zihang’s scent. When she emerged from her cocoon, Chu Zihang was already sealed in mucus.

A hissing sound came from deep in her throat, as if there was still resistance, but her rationality was quietly crumbling.

“Come at me! My blood is more useful than his! Come at me! I’m the damn guy! I’ll fuck you Bunin! I’ll fuck Bunin!” Lu Mingfei didn’t even know what he was yelling.

Ignoring him, Christina gracefully entwined herself around Chu Zihang, their intimate and lingering posture misleading an unsuspecting observer into believing it was the union of a god and a human depicted in a mural. She suddenly bit down on Chu Zihang’s neck, her forked tongue probing into the wound Bunin had cut open.

At the same time, ethereal white threads emerged again from beneath her scales, wrapping around Chu Zihang’s body, trying to encase him and herself in a new cocoon.

“Lu Mingze! Lu Mingze! Lu Mingze!” Lu Mingfei roared in terror. He no longer cared about the consequences.
No one answered him, and no one knew what he was shouting. Perhaps he had been abandoned, a soul wanting to end his own life, no longer worth the price of a transaction.

“No, no, don’t! No!” Lu Mingfei cried out in panic.

I used to find it particularly annoying when women in movies would just shout “No, no!” in the face of death. It turns out that when people are truly desperate, language really becomes inadequate, leaving them only with meaningless pleas.

Even through the heavy netting, Chu Zihang could still see Lu Mingfei over Christina’s shoulder. His gaze gradually became unfocused, as if a thick fog had risen.

“Senior brother, I’m sorry…” he said blankly, his voice barely audible at the end.

His hand holding the knife fell to his side, and he closed his eyes as if asleep, his pale face still bearing a childlike expression.

What are you sorry for? What are you apologizing for? Is it because you didn’t stay with me until the end? Or is it because we haven’t cut the axle of that wedding car yet?

“Now that you’ve grown up, you have to learn to be brave… Even if I’m not by your side, I’ll stop that wedding car and cut its axle.” This voice echoed in Lu Mingfei’s mind, over and over again.

Tears blurred his vision, but he couldn’t cry; the pain was so intense he couldn’t even breathe. Right in front of him, little Bunin clapped his hands and cheered loudly.

Christina’s golden compound eyes shone brightly as if they were burning. She was still biting Chu Zihang’s neck, but she couldn’t help but scream excitedly.

This was completely different from when she drank the blood of her first boy. Chu Zihang’s blood surged into her throat, as hot as molten gold, yet without burning pain. The blood seemed to vaporize within her, transforming into a torrent of pure power that cleansed her veins.

She couldn’t believe it. It felt as if she hadn’t absorbed the boy’s power, but rather that this power was suppressing the surging golden holy nectar, propelling her to evolve once more. She even doubted whether her body could contain this astonishing power, but even in its shattering state, it felt substantial, as if it were above all things, looking down upon all living beings.

Her mind gradually drifted away in the immense pleasure, her body felt as if it were immersed in a warm sea, and she wanted to fall into a deep sleep, regardless of whether she would wake up again.

But a stern voice descended from above, omnipresent, saying, “Get out of my way.”

The language was ancient and austere; Christina had never heard it before, yet she could understand it perfectly.

Christina awoke with a start, as if some force had invaded her mind. She opened her eyes abruptly and found herself floating on a calm, warm sea.

The sea stretched to the horizon, the sun setting simultaneously in all directions, its afterglow a fiery red like the sky ablaze. Only a bronze pillar rose from the sea, standing before her. It was so tall, seemingly reaching the sky, that even Christina’s vision could only vaguely make out a person standing atop the pillar.

It was the shadow of a girl, so slender it seemed to melt into the sunset glow, the wind blowing her skirt and long hair.

Was that her speaking? What right did she have to speak to her like that? Christina looked up angrily, her golden compound eyes flashing with murderous intent, but her murderous intent was suppressed by the thunderous sound.

“Get out of here!” the girl on top of the pillar said again, her voice echoing between the sky and the sea.

The sea surged with raging waves, darkness descended, and the bronze pillar suddenly twisted, emitting a deafening roar.

There was no bronze pillar at all; it was a colossal serpent that stretched to the heavens and the earth, its crimson-gold eyes gazing down upon Christina from the sky. And there was no girl at all; it was the serpent that issued its furious command, and the world teetered on the brink of collapse under its command.

For the first time since her birth, Christina felt fear. She was crushed, utterly crushed, and all she wanted to do was bow down and humbly beg for forgiveness. That was the true supreme being; she had usurped the throne of a certain supreme being, and her soul resided in this boy’s body!

But her realization came too late. Fire and wind descended vertically from the sky, and the sea blazed fiercely. She writhed and howled in the boiling water, but could never escape this hell.

Lu Mingfei was completely stunned. He was in excruciating pain for a short while when he suddenly saw a chilling roar coming from the unfinished cocoon.

The next moment, the cocoon was forcibly torn open from the inside. Christina, covered in white smoke, frantically fled from the cocoon she had created, smashing through layer after layer of nets. Her snake tail swung powerfully, “pulling” the statue of Lu Mingfei off the ground, and the transparent hard shell was also shattered.

Before he even landed, Lu Mingfei knew his lower leg was broken. The outer shell must be harder than his bones. Regaining his freedom would come at a price.

Lu Mingfei initially thought that Chu Zihang had held back a trick and stabbed Christina at the last moment, but the collapsed cocoon-like garment covered Chu Zihang, who knelt with his eyes closed, like a monk.

“Christina! Christina!” Little Bunin was also terrified and rushed over to hug his daughter… or rather, his most precious treasure.

“Senior brother! Senior brother!” Lu Mingfei dragged his leg and ran towards Chu Zihang, hugging him tightly.
