Dragon Raja 5

Its arrival and departure were but a fleeting moment, yet even after it vanished from the camera for tens of seconds, everyone was still captivated by that moment. A mad dragon suddenly descended from the clouds, its ridged back connecting heaven and earth. It snatched up the raging demon in one gulp, leaving behind a fleeting glimpse of its form before slowly dissipating between heaven and earth.

By the time people came to their senses, the Nautilus had become light and the autopilot was controlling it to slide smoothly on the surface of the mud layer.

“What was that?” a sailor asked breathlessly.

“Whale! That’s a white whale!” someone answered loudly.

“White sperm whale!” someone said more firmly.

Caesar and the first mate looked at each other.

Leviathan came and went so quickly that all they saw was a white shadow. Even when they replayed the recorded footage, all they could see clearly was a huge mouth with bared fangs, which almost occupied the entire screen.

But it was true that the shadow looked very much like a sperm whale. The huge, high, bulging head was a natural mark of this animal, a feature not possessed by any other whale. Its size was only slightly larger than that of an ordinary sperm whale, and even shorter than that of a Hydra.

Although there have always been rumors that Leviathan is a giant whale, it is a bit too plain that the noble first generation species actually looks like a whale.

“Quiet! Stay at your posts! Refill the rear balance tank with water and restore it to level! Increase the propulsion force in steps of 10%, once every ten seconds!” the first mate said loudly.

Without the drag of Hydra, the Nautilus easily regained its levelness. Its blade-like head, similar to that of a sperm whale, slowly rose up, and the airflow from its tail blew up the mud and water to form a huge turbulence. When the propulsion force rose to 100%, the trapped iron fish raised its head and broke away from the mud layer like an airplane taking off.

There was a cheer in the command cabin, and the sailors raised their hands above their heads for a long time, shouting and roaring. The fear and pressure they had experienced when they saw the gates of hell open were completely released after escaping.

“Boss, how do you know Leviathan will help us?” Finger asked in a low voice.

“Hydra has been entangled with us from the beginning. It didn’t intend to attack us, but to use our high speed to avoid Leviathan.” Caesar replied in a low voice. “It was that led the snakes to slaughter Leviathan’s whales. Leviathan was chasing us for revenge.”

Mai Jude nodded slightly. She had considered this possibility, which was why the Hydra had entangled the Nautilus without attacking it. The relationship between it and the Nautilus wasn’t one of hunter and prey, but rather one of parasite and host.

The terrifying Leviathan is actually a creature with humanity or social attributes. It has a strong desire for revenge, but this is also in line with the nature of whales. They are indeed creatures that can feel anger and sorrow, and they will even drift with the sea carrying their dead children and cry for weeks.

The Nautilus rose at a rapid speed, with both active and passive sonars turned on at maximum power, searching for any traces of Hydra and Leviathan.

The battling behemoths were unable to stealthily maneuver and were immediately picked up by the Nautilus’s sonar. Their fateful encounter took place near the surface, but as the Nautilus attempted to approach, Leviathan once again carried Hydra deeper into the seabed. Its ascent and descent were so rapid that the Nautilus could not keep up, forcing it to wait near the surface.

Sure enough, Leviathan came back after a while. Hydra tightly entangled and bit its body, and it bit Hydra’s neck fiercely. Both beasts were covered with scars, but their fight was even more brutal and fierce than at the beginning.

The Nautilus turned on the headlights on the bow, illuminating the surrounding sea area. Everyone watched the bloody battle in horror and excitement. They bit, rolled, and swam up and down with hundreds of meters of blood smoke. Leviathan was singing and Hydra was roaring, just like an ancient scroll of mythology being opened before humans.

Leviathan once again rushed to the surface of the sea with Hydra at an extremely fast speed, breaking through the weakest part of the ice shelf, flipping over with broken ice all over the sky, and then entering the water again, diving into the depths of the sea.

“They just swim up and down biting each other?” Finger glanced at Jiude Mai beside him.

“Sperm whales use this tactic to hunt giant squids. They bite the giant squid in the deep sea and bring it to the surface as quickly as possible. The huge change in water pressure will cause gas to quickly precipitate from its body fluids to form bubbles, causing vascular embolism and even causing the prey’s alveoli to explode. It is difficult to cause fatal injuries to such a huge opponent with just a bite. It wants to suffocate the Hydra to death.” said Mai Jude.

“That’s a fierce whale!” Finger exclaimed. “Does Hydra still have a chance?”

“Venom. Hydra’s only chance is to inject enough venom into Leviathan’s body before it suffocates to death,” said Caesar.

The four remaining heads of Hydra were all biting Leviathan’s neck, and its long tail was wrapped around Leviathan in circles. Its heavy belly fell to the side, covered with miserable wounds, which should have been caused by being dragged in the mud.

It was a fight of endurance, and both sides endured great pain.

“Who should we hope wins?” asked Jude Mai.

“Hydra, that thing’s venom is useless against the Nautilus, but if Leviathan catches its breath, it can freeze the entire sea.” Caesar replied.

“So who do you hope will win?” Jiude Mai looked straight into Caesar’s eyes.

This time Caesar didn’t answer. Instead, he turned to look at the first mate and said, “Please load all six of our torpedo tubes with Sailfish torpedoes and be ready to fire at any time.”

Caesar once had the opportunity to launch a swordfish torpedo at the Leviathan, but he forfeited it, drawn to his curiosity about the mysterious whale king. If you ignore its terrifying, icy hellish language, the Leviathan is surprisingly endearing. Huge and noble, it swam across the vast icy sea, chanting deeply like a bard traversing the wilderness. It protected its kin like a true king, otherwise it wouldn’t have faced its current predicament, directly deploying its domain, making it impossible for the Hydra to approach. And like a knight, it was as impassioned and fierce as a knight. Even gravely wounded, it refused to retreat from the battlefield to ensure its own safety. Revenge was a matter of urgency.

Mai Jude asked whether Caesar would destroy Leviathan as the captain suggested to ensure the safety of the Nautilus. Caesar’s answer was that he would not show mercy to Leviathan because of a strange sense of identification.
