Dragon Raja 5

Lu Mingfei pushed open the bedroom door. In the corridor, Chu Zihang was standing against the wall, holding a sharp blade with flowing green light in his hand – the Spider Cut that Yuan Zhisheng had used. This was the last gift from the Crow. It was sent onto the plane together with the Boy Cut An Gang.

The two exchanged glances, quickly forming a defensive formation and descending the stairs back to back. From the staircase to the corridor, past the ornately carved reception rooms, music room, and prayer room, the vast Elizabeth Palace was hushed, the only sounds being their footsteps and the meows of the two kittens. Their tails hooked together, they followed closely behind Lu Mingfei and Chu Zihang.

Looking out the window, the ferocious fighting dogs were dozing together, not being poisoned or having their throats slit silently. All signs indicated that everything was normal, except for the two cats who felt something was wrong.

Maybe they simply had a nightmare or felt that their cat life was a little empty and needed comfort?

The shadow of the chandelier swayed, and so did the branches of the flowers in the vase. It was as quiet as a windy afternoon… Lu Mingfei suddenly looked up at the slightly swaying chandelier. This was the problem. This wasn’t just a windy afternoon. The doors and windows of Elizabeth Palace were locked. How could such a strong wind have caused a chandelier to sway? The chandelier swung more and more violently, and the ground shook slightly. Suddenly, an alarm swept through Elizabeth Palace. The vibration sensor had been triggered.

Could it be that the danger the kittens sensed was an earthquake? Before Lu Mingfei could figure it out, the fighting dogs in the courtyard stood up collectively and roared in a certain direction.

Lu Mingfei dodged to the window, aiming his gun in that direction. The next moment, his jaw dropped. He saw a massive cannon smash through the back wall of the Elizabeth Palace courtyard! That 125mm smoothbore cannon belonged to a T-64 main battle tank, spewing billowing black smoke!

It wasn’t an earthquake, but the tank moving at high speed that shook the ground. The sound insulation of Elizabeth Palace was so good that they didn’t hear the roar of the tank engine.

The eight fighting dogs, whose eyes were wide open and emitting a fierce look that said “you are already dead”, were now all dumbfounded. They sat in a row and watched the steel chariot passing by them.

This was a Russian-style attack! They brazenly used a tank to visit us, right in the heart of Moscow!

“Get down!” Lu Mingfei pressed Chu Zihang’s head hard, because he saw the tank’s turret was rotating, and the terrifying 125mm howitzer was pointing at Elizabeth Palace.

But Chu Zihang broke free from his grip, knife in one hand and reaching out with the other, uttering a majestic dragon script. His eyes turned a blinding gold. A violent explosion enveloped the T-64. Blazing light, streams of fire, shockwaves—it was the same familiar formula and flavor Lu Mingfei knew. Even at fifteen, his senior brother was still the same ruthless warrior Lu Mingfei remembered. Lu Mingfei was delighted. Their weapons were essentially no different from fly swatters against the T-64. Fortunately, there was this bomber who came with his own free bombs.

But the next moment, Lu Mingfei’s joy faded. The blackened T-64 burst out of the flames and continued to rush towards the Elizabeth Palace. Burning Blaze was unable to defeat the T-64’s armor. Although it was a product of the 1960s, it was, after all, a weapon of a great power that once dominated Europe during the Cold War.

The butlers rushed to the scene. These men, who normally wore suits and white gloves, drove you, opened the door, and set the table, now wore body armor over their suits. Each one looked fierce, wielding a variety of light and heavy weapons, including several MG4 light machine guns, a truly formidable array of firepower. But they, too, were stunned by the antique tank. They stood there for a few seconds, then raised their weapons and fired fiercely but pointlessly at the T-64.

The T-64 ignored the firepower of the butlers and moved straight forward, apparently trying to rely on its indestructible armor to crash directly into the Elizabeth Palace.

At this time, ladies in white dresses appeared in the reception room and opened the back door of Elizabeth Palace. In front of them was a heavy tank rushing towards them, but they showed elegance and calmness, as if they were here to prepare breakfast for their host.

The head maid of Elizabeth Palace arrived with her team. Lu Mingfei and Chu Zihang, who originally thought they were the protagonists of the incident, had to step aside to make room for them.

The four maids combined to carry an American-made TOW anti-tank missile. The matron, who looked as prim as a monastery, donned her glasses. A-64 realized its adversary had finally appeared, scooping up a large piece of dirt and spinning at high speed, trying to evade the anti-tank missile’s lock. But this didn’t faze the middle-aged woman. The matron’s expression resembled that of a teacher with a pointer, about to discipline a disobedient child, or a she-wolf coldly watching a fleeing little white rabbit.

Locked and launched, the anti-tank missile left a thin trail of white smoke and accurately hit the T-64’s track. Although it failed to destroy its armor, it almost flipped it over.

The head maid didn’t even appreciate the moment the missile hit. After pulling the trigger, she turned around and took the towel handed to her by her subordinate and wiped her hands, probably because she didn’t want the gun oil to remain on her hands for too long.

“Gentlemen, we have called the police. Please take a rest. Breakfast will take some time.” The head waitress gestured with her usual indifference and nobility, meaning that they would clean up the situation and Lu Mingfei and Chu Zihang could go back to the room to brush their teeth.

However, the next moment her indifference suddenly turned into stiffness. She was silent for two seconds and whispered, “Equipment!”

The waitresses opened a secret door hidden in the wall. On the weapon rack behind the secret door were neatly hung HK416 automatic rifles, the standard weapon of the US Marine Corps, as well as grenades and bulletproof vests.

In less than a minute, the maid team was fully armed. Their white skirts fluttered as the head maid kicked the door shut. “Group one, group two, east and west sides of the first floor. Group three, find suitable cover on the second floor. Sniper spotter, go to the top floor!”

At the same time, the butlers had retreated into Elizabeth Palace. It seemed that the middle-aged woman, the head maid, was the one in charge of the overall situation.

The battle had just begun. Under the dawn sky, military boots stepped over the lawn that had just been trampled by tracks, and soldiers wearing gas masks and carrying bulletproof shields appeared on the scene.

The T-64 failed to break into the Elizabeth Palace, but it opened the way for the subsequent infantry combat.
