Dragon Raja 5; Chapter 19: Public Enemy (19)

Dragon Raja 5

The old driver stared blankly at the girl who seemed to have been taken away by a hurricane, completely unable to understand what was going on.

Victoria Snowton, a descendant of the Snowton family and the future Countess, chose to give up the audience with the Queen at the last moment because of an unknown mobile phone message.

This young girl was chosen by Her Majesty the Queen herself to be the heir to the family among more than thirty possible heirs. She didn’t have to do anything at all. She just had to let the Rolls-Royce take her into the gate of Buckingham Palace and she could easily reach the peak of her life. But she waved her hand and left, as if she was just rejecting an advertisement distributed on the street.

But perhaps not allowing her to see the Queen was the right decision? Without her formal attire, her slender figure resembled more a slender and fierce lioness than a well-trained lady!

What university did she attend in the United States? Or, in other words, what branch of the U.S. military did she serve in? Such a young woman was undergoing such intense training, and what kind of enemy was she fighting against? My imagination ran wild.

Almost at the same time, in an office building in downtown Stockholm, financial analysts had been discussing fiercely around the conference table all night. They had different opinions on the issue price of a unicorn company’s listing.

But no matter what, this is the most eye-catching IPO this year. Everyone who can enter this office for a meeting feels honored, and helping this company go public will be a permanent topic of conversation in their careers.

One of the young interns received the message, and within a minute he wrote a resignation email to his boss who was also in the meeting room, and then walked out in everyone’s surprised eyes.

On the streets of Paris, a shop that has been open seven days a week for twelve consecutive years and specializes in selling flowers has rarely hung a “temporarily closed” sign.

Old customers who passed by and wanted to buy a bouquet of flowers chatted in surprise, worried that the owner might have had an accident at home. This guess was confirmed by the painter who painted portraits of passers-by across the street. He said that the owner did come in the morning and was about to open for business, but after suddenly receiving a mobile phone message, he stopped working and hung up the “Temporarily closed” sign.

The look on his face when he left was completely different from usual. He looked a bit like a soldier returning from the battlefield. Even though the painter had known him for seven or eight years, he didn’t dare to approach him and talk to him.

Even in the polar night of the Arctic, the station chief of a scientific research station left the station alone after receiving a mobile phone message.

He did not give any explanation for this violation of discipline, and drove a snowmobile alone into the vast snowstorm. No one dared to stop him or chase him out, because it was winter and polar bears were very hungry. A few people going out would be like sending themselves to be a feast for polar bears.

The helicopter flew over London with its door open. Victoria sat on the floor of the cabin, looking up quietly at the leaden sky.

She seemed to be able to see the encrypted electronic streams shuttling back and forth in low-Earth orbit. The hunting ground had been activated, the hunters walked out of the shelter with guns in hand, but the prey were still wandering ignorantly in the wilderness.

That prey—the prey named Lu Mingfei.

Victoria still remembered her first student union recruitment meeting. It was her first time meeting the legendary student union president. He didn’t possess the powerful leadership aura Victoria had imagined; he seemed rather reserved and absent-minded. He shook hands with each girl briefly, as if he didn’t quite understand how to interact with them. He rarely made eye contact, and when he noticed he was being looked at, he would smile and look away. When no one was paying attention, he would sip his Coke in a corner. Only when someone asked for his autograph or needed him to make an appearance would he offer a glass of champagne and a slightly confident smile.

But on that night in Rio de Janeiro, this president who looked even a little timid confronted the terrifying “Dancing King” like a knight in armor. He jumped, tumbled and shot on the rooftops in the dark, just like a flying dragon. He showed Victoria what it meant to be a ruler of the battlefield and who deserved to be called the hero that everyone anticipated.

That was the first time in Victoria’s life that she believed that although the Dragon Kings were terrifying, there were still humans who could curb their ambitions and bury them time and time again.

But now the former savior has become the enemy of all people, and the unparalleled hero must either become a prisoner or die.

What a black humor! Victoria suddenly felt that this world was so tiring.

The rear compartment was very dark, and Lu Mingfei couldn’t find the light switch, but with the dim light of the night light, he could tell that this was a bedroom with a very exquisite design.

No wonder my uncle said this thing is exclusive to rich people. If it weren’t for the slight vibration when the RV was driving at high speed, just looking at this bedroom you would feel like you were in a guest room of a luxury hotel.
