Dragon Raja 5

In Tokyo’s Bay Area at unassuming white building with armed guards at the entrance.

This was office building of the Japan Coast Guard, where the Tokyo Coast Guard was stationed. While they may be called police, they were responsible for the safety of shipping routes in and out of Tokyo and could use heavy weapons when necessary, much like the military.

The sealed alloy door slowly opened, and a guard, accompanied by a man in a sharp suit, entered. Across from them stood a steel-clad wall, lined with small, square doors. The guard checked the record sheet in his hand, then stepped forward and opened one of the doors. The icy air dissipated, revealing a white body bag.

The guard unzipped the body bag, revealing the pale face of the girl inside.

The guard sighed softly inwardly, for it was rare to see such a peaceful deceased, with long eyebrows and eyes, smooth hair, and white ice crystals on her long eyelashes. At first glance, it seemed that she was only temporarily frozen, and only needed a little warmth to wake up.

“It was just salvaged this morning. Its identity hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s speculated to be related to the shipwreck. No news has been released yet,” the guard said. “How did Interpol know about this?”

The visitor had an appointment and handed over a business card, which showed that he was an Interpol employee stationed in Japan and that he had come to see the unidentified body that had just been recovered.

Interpol is a prestigious organization, packed with elite individuals holding diplomatic passports. They fight transnational crime, garnering favorable treatment from governments around the world and collaborating extensively with the Japan Coast Guard. But as a low-ranking officer, this was his first encounter with such an elite group, and he was struck by the demeanor of this Interpol officer.

His temperament was somewhere between an aristocrat and a secret agent. His well-fitting black suit, sculpted face, neatly combed blond hair, and sunglasses that he almost never takes off all exude a sense of alienation, as if “keep away from strangers.”

Interpol looked at the girl silently and did not answer the guard’s questions.

The guard waited, not wanting to say much. When he grew impatient, he stepped forward to ask the Interpol if he had anything else to say. Suddenly, he noticed two lines of icicles under the Interpol’s sunglasses. He froze for a moment, then realized they were tears. The stern Interpol had been crying silently.

But he had no time to think about what was going on, because the detective slightly turned his body and hit him with a powerful uppercut, knocking him off the ground. A mouthful of broken teeth and blood spurted out, and the guard fainted before landing.

Lancelot returned to his staring posture, as if the fierce hook punch just now was not thrown by him at all. He had been waiting at the girl’s bedside. It was a sunny morning and he was waiting for his girl to wake up.

“Susie, we’re going home.” Lancelot said softly. His voice was gentle, but it seemed to carry the wailing of a devil from hell.
