Dragon Raja 5

Fujiwara Nobunosuke shrugged. “I don’t mean to offend. I just want to say that I’ve understood this since I was a child, so I worked hard to learn how to let people down. Fortunately, I was born with a baby face, and if I eat a little more, people will tend to be more tolerant of men with round faces. I am indeed an agent of the academy, but I am also an assassin for the Gattuso family. These two identities are not contradictory. The family wanted this matter to end cleanly without any delay, so they sent me. There are many people like me in the family, and I hold a high status among them. Only a guy named Percy is above me.”

He spoke freely and with a smug look on his face. People who are too tolerant often have eccentric habits that are flamboyant in private. After all, he was still young and had endured so long in front of Crow that when he took off his mask, he couldn’t help but say a few more words, forcing Crow to listen even if he didn’t want to.

“Does Lancelot know your identity?” Crow panted for a moment and asked viciously.

“Of course he don’t know. If he knew I was the special envoy of the Gattuso family, he would never allow me to board this ship. Although he and Lu Jun are not that familiar, he is still a sentimental person within his ability. He will not watch Miss Nono die because of Miss Susie. But I just want to act with him. I have always completed missions independently. Many assassins died because they had too many clues for external contact. But lone wolves must know how to take advantage of the situation. Saeki-kun, you and Lancelot-kun are playing chess. You are both trying to deceive each other, but only I can see the situation clearly. I want to use the chess positions of both of you to accomplish the task entrusted to me by the family.” Fujiwara Nobunosuke raised his eyebrows. “The Chinese say that the highest realm in martial arts is ‘four ounces to move a thousand pounds’. If the force is used just right, a mouse can defeat an elephant.”

“You want Miss Chen to die?”

“Actually, whether Miss Chen lives or dies isn’t important to the family, but Caesar is very important to the family, and he’s unwilling to give up Miss Chen. So, there’s nothing we can do but make Miss Chen disappear. Of course, to prevent Caesar from getting suspicious, Lu Mingfei and the guy with them must also disappear. Lancelot will help me complete this plan. He carries the Seven Deadly Sins, weapons that can kill the Dragon King, and you just saw his hidden power. Let me tell you a secret,” Fujiwara Nobunosuke leaned forward slightly, as if trying to whisper to the crow, “Anyone who knows this secret will die, and there are only four people in this world who know this secret.”

He turned around and shot each of the two men left behind by Lancelot. Blood spurted from the foreheads of the two commissioners and they fell straight to the ground.

They were all elites who had graduated from Cassel Academy and had gone through the brutal test of the battlefield, but they didn’t even realize that death was about to come. They were still watching Crow and Fujiwara Nobunosuke talking from afar with their arms folded.

Crow felt no pity for them, for the two men hadn’t even bothered to come over and ask questions during his roar. They were also accomplices of Fujiwara no Nobunosuke, either bribed by him later or dispatched by the Gattuso family. The Gattusos and other prominent mixed-blood families planted their own members within the secret society; some even claimed the Rome branch was the Gattuso family’s private army.

But this did not make Fujiwara Nobunosuke hesitate. He had proudly stated his position that he was a lone wolf and never needed comrades.

“Now it’s just you and me.” Fujiwara Nobunosuke smiled and blew away the smoke from the muzzle of the gun.

Crow leaped up and ran, like a porcupine that has escaped from the teeth of a hound.

Fujiwara Nobunosuke was stunned for a moment. He originally thought that the director of the Japanese Executive Bureau would be tougher, such as looking at him coldly and waiting to be shot in the head by him. Unexpectedly, Crow ran faster than the rabbit.

But what good was that? On the open deck, with no obstacles around, he held a gun with an effective range of 70 meters and a full 13 rounds of steel-core bullets in the magazine. His shooting score that year was among the top three at Cassel Academy… Such an escape only made Crow’s own ending seem a little ridiculous.

He took a deep drag on his cigar, raised his head and exhaled a faint blue mist towards the sky. He casually discarded the cigarette butt and, without looking up, fired a shot. Crow, in its frantic flight, seemed to have been tripped by something and fell to the ground. Fujiwara Nobunosuke casually caught the shell that had ejected from the bolt.

Everything was over. He sat cross-legged on the silent, empty ship, surrounded only by the whistling sea breeze and the rolling waves. He calculated that in a few minutes, Lancelot’s helicopter would approach Lu Mingfei’s ship, and the clappers would sound on time. When Lancelot saw the dragon-like monster with his own eyes, he would unleash all the extreme measures he had prepared but hadn’t used.

It would be best if Lu Mingfei strangled Nono’s neck first after he went berserk, so that Lancelot would have more than enough reason to carry out the extermination plan. Lancelot could give an explanation to the academy, and Fujiwara Nobunosuke could also give an explanation to his family.

What a brilliant plan! Fujiwara Nobunosuke cheered for himself in his heart.

Just like a perfect murder case, all the truths were tightly covered up without a single flaw.

The best part was, he didn’t even have to put in any effort, just talking here and there. Isn’t that what a top-level assassin should be like? Not even blood on their hands.
