Dragon Raja 5

Even if Lancelot wanted to kill the monster Lu Mingfei, he had to consider Nono who was traveling with him. If Nono died, Caesar’s revenge would be something Lancelot could not bear.

But what if Lancelot is a secret envoy from the Gattuso family?

The Gattuso family dared to allow Lu Mingfei to transform into a dragon beside Nuonuo, seemingly unconcerned about putting the future mistress in danger. Caesar’s stance shouldn’t be mistaken for that of the Gattuso family; in a sense, this heir was born to oppose the family.

The Gattuso family might wish Nono had never existed!

“No, it’s not as bad as you think. Their instinct is still to hunt those with dragon blood. They can cooperate and use the supreme ‘Emperor’s’ Word Spirit. All dragons and hybrids are suppressed by that Word Spirit.” Lancelot said, “They only show violent tendencies after their blood temperature rises to a certain level, so I set the trap in a cold storage. At that temperature, as soon as they capture their target, they will stop attacking. Just like a trained hound, they will not eat their prey easily.”

    ***

Lu Mingfei and the other three stared blankly at the frogmen who stood up from the sea of fire. They did not rush over, but walked slowly, looking left and right slowly.

This scene looked familiar. Nuonuo suddenly remembered that when Lu Mingfei was induced to transform into a dragon by that strange clapperboard sound, he also had a similar behavior pattern. Just like a newborn baby, he was full of curiosity about the world around him.

But after the latex suits were burned, their true appearance was exposed: bodies covered with scales, heads covered with bone armor, some with high bulges on their backs to accommodate their astonishingly large muscles, some with reverse knee joints, forming insect-like anti-joints, and some with high bulges on the back of their heads, probably to accommodate their huge brains.

For those who don’t know about the dragon clan, they might think that monsters from horror movies all over the world gathered here to have a party. But to NuoNuo and Lu Mingfei, it was obvious that this was a group of hybrids that were severely corroded by dragon blood. The directions of mutation were different, but all individuals were closer to dragons than those snake-like Deadpools cultivated by Herzog!

From time to time, an arc of electricity flashed in the passage, which was the ionization of the gas. The strong wind blew out from the cold storage, like a sharp blade cutting the surface, as if there was a jet fighter’s turbine engine hidden in the cold storage. The temperature fluctuated, and it felt like a winter and summer had passed in the blink of an eye.

It was elemental turbulence. In a larger space, elemental turbulence would usually manifest as climate anomalies, but in such a confined space, it felt like all sorts of extreme weather conditions were crammed into this one passage.

After crawling out of the fire, the strength of these monsters seemed to increase suddenly. Just their wandering here would seriously affect the elemental balance in the surrounding space.

“Hurry! Go!” Lu Mingfei yelled.

He wasn’t sure what was happening, but he had a bad feeling this was the true form of these frogmen. It seemed as if they had been placed under some kind of restraint, which had kept them from moving despite their terrifying strength. Now that the restraint had been removed, these monsters could now act with impunity.

Chu Zihang carried Lu Mingfei and ran, and Nuonuo followed behind with dragging feet. After the bleeding stopped, her ability to move was even better than Lu Mingfei, who had a broken thigh.

At this time, the monsters in the cold storage had discovered their target. They no longer wandered aimlessly, but walked straight towards them, faster and faster. The next moment, they rushed over like wild beasts. Some of them even ran on all fours, and the one with reverse-jointed legs jumped like a mantis.

Nono tried his best to open a hatch, and the next moment his claws pierced through the hatch. For these monsters, any obstacle was only a temporary obstacle for them, and steel was a soft material that could be torn apart by bare hands.

The three of them ascended to the upper level via the ladder connecting the two decks. Seconds later, amidst a high-pitched chant, the lower deck erupted in flames, scorching air gushing out. Within moments, the ground was too scorching to stand on.

A certain monster released a powerful word spirit that controlled the element of fire, transforming the bottom layer into a steelmaking furnace, with an incredibly vast area.

Chu Zihang stared at the scene blankly, as if he was frightened silly.

“Let’s go!” Nuonuo pushed him and stuck the plastic explosives on the red-hot steel escalator.

Seconds later, with a loud bang, the staircase leading to the lower deck was blown away. But how long this would hold back the monsters? Nono herself wasn’t sure, as there were many passages between the different levels. Furthermore, a terrifying scraping sound could be heard from the outside of the ship. It seemed that several of the monsters had torn through the hull and were crawling along the outer wall.

The ship has turned into a hell floating on the sea, with evil spirits rampaging in the flames, sharpening their fangs to suck blood, and their terrifying footsteps can be heard everywhere.

In a cabin in the living quarters, three people leaned against the wall side by side, breathing heavily. This cabin was quite remote, and there was no sound of the monsters’ footsteps yet. Perhaps because it was located at a certain mechanical support point, the walls were made of steel, and there was a very thick steel door.
