“Ladies and gentlemen, please follow me aboard. Your beds and vodka are ready,” Captain Aliyev greeted.

Lu Mingfei and three others followed behind him, walking slowly towards the dock in front of them which was flashing white light.

“I leave my friends to you, Aliyev. I owe you a favor.” Crow said behind them.

Lu Mingfei turned back in surprise, only to find that Crow hadn’t caught up with them. He was leaning against the antique sports car, waving at them from a distance.

It turned out that they were about to part. Lu Mingfei didn’t think much about it at first, but instinctively thought that the crow would send them on the boat, settle them down before leaving, and even chat about the sadness of parting and have a drink or something.

But think about it, it’s really unnecessary. Parting ways between men is just a matter of waving goodbye. What needs to be said has been said many times, and the wine has been drunk. Many encounters and farewells in life are like this. So cherish the time when you drink face to face.

Lu Mingfei stopped, turned around and waved to Crow, then trotted to catch up with Captain Aliyev.

“But I will also take good care of your wife and children for you.” Crow followed up.

Lu Mingfei was stunned for a moment, then couldn’t help but laugh. This was exactly the style of that actor. After rubbing their chins against each other a thousand times, he still took Aliyev’s entire family hostage.

The ship was worse than Lu Mingfei had imagined. No matter how high the level of a garbage ship was, it was still a garbage ship.

The tonnage was not small, estimated to be about 20,000 tons, but the entire ship was covered in rust, and the stench that could be smelled at the seaside was even stronger here.

The ship was essentially a rectangular iron box floating on the sea, with the bow and stern housing the power system, rudder, and cramped living quarters. The cargo hold was divided into two sections. One section was filled with containers, presumably containing high-value waste that can be disassembled and recycled. The other section simply piled in the open air, likely destined for landfill upon arrival. The ship’s crane was not operating, presumably indicating that the loading process is complete and the ship was ready to sail at any time.

The living quarters were below decks, and Aliyev led them through a pitch-black corridor, dimly lit only by distant lights. Lu Mingfei noticed that Nuonuo’s expression remained focused. Her memory was exceptional; she memorized the entire corridor after just one walk. Combined with her profiling abilities, she could instantly detect hostile intent. Her presence was like an alarm, providing a significant level of security even in such unfamiliar territory.

Aliyev stopped at the end of a passage where two cabins faced each other.

“Free-flowing vodka, soft beds, 24-hour hot water—believe me, this is the best accommodation on this ship. You’re Mr. Saeki’s good friends, after all,” Aliyev said. “But I suggest you don’t wander around. The ship is full of men, and men are always bored at sea. Their only entertainment is alcohol and pornographic movies. I’m afraid such a beautiful lady would cause a commotion.”

Nuonuo snorted coldly and pushed the door open.

The cabin was quite tidy, even with a small round porthole looking out, but the so-called 24-hour hot water was just a shower head, and the unlimited vodka was the cheapest. Captain Aliyev did not follow in, but stood at the door.

“When boat depart?” asked Nono.

“The cargo has been loaded, and we’re ready to leave.” Aliyev said, throwing two keys to Lu Mingfei. “The room opposite is also yours. I’ll have the crew carry in the rest of your luggage later.”

“I think this ship is quite old. It won’t have any accidents, right?” Lu Mingfei asked.

“For a ship of this size, it is absolutely safe as long as there is no storm in the sea area. That sea area is very busy. Basically, we pass by other ships at close range every hour. We are not afraid of hitting icebergs,” said Captain Aliyev.

“Are there lifeboats and other things?” Lu Mingfei asked again.

“Of course, that’s what maritime law requires, six lifeboats, right behind the living quarters.”

Lu Mingfei nodded, and Aliyev turned and left, his heavy footsteps echoing in the corridor.

Nuonuo signaled with his eyes, and Chu Zihang immediately closed the door and checked the lock. Nuonuo opened his carry-on suitcase, revealing neatly stacked weapons. Nuonuo tossed an electronic device to Lu Mingfei, who carefully scanned every corner of the cabin. Nuonuo then deftly assembled the weapon.

Only Chu Zihang had nothing to do. He lay beside the porthole, staring at the undulating sea outside in a trance.

“Safe.” Lu Mingfei turned off the scanning device.

This is a very “clean” room and no signals from any surveillance equipment were detected.

Nono stuffed the assembled UMP9 into the gap beside the bed, and hid a Beretta heavy pistol at the bottom of the sink. After doing all this, she relaxed a little and poured a glass of free vodka and drank it all.

“Gentlemen, you may return to your rooms.” She poured another glass of wine, sat down on the thing that could barely be called a “sofa,” and ordered them to leave in a flat tone.
