Dragon Raja 5

Although it wasn’t explicitly stated, the academy was certain that it was this high-ranking member of the Snake Eight Clans who was aiding Lu Mingfei. Director Saeki Ryuji’s personal combat prowess was unknown; the “Word Spirit” section in his file was blank. However, he controlled the Japanese Executive Bureau, a department comprised entirely of violent individuals who answered almost exclusively to him.

In other words, he could have summoned hundreds, even thousands, of men with military equipment at a single command to destroy the safe house and everyone inside. Yet, this man, empty-handed, calmly delivered himself to the enemy camp.

He obviously has some medicine in his gourd, the question is what it is.

“Miss Lei Ting, there’s no need to be so confrontational, is there?” Crow continued, “And Miss Victoria over there, I’m very sorry about the frying pan. That was indeed very rude to a lady, but could you please take your hands out of your skirt for a moment?”

Victoria was stunned for a moment, her face a little ugly. But she still took out her hand hidden in her skirt, and of course the large-caliber pistol. She thought that with her sitting posture, Crow would not notice that she hid the gun in her skirt.

“Women like to hide their guns there. You think it’s very secret, but that’s where men pay attention first.” Crow’s eyes swept lustfully over Victoria’s chest. He had been drinking since he came in and seemed a little drunk.

Susie also moved her hands from her knees to the table, but her hands were empty. She sat next to Lancelot, showed her hands to the crow, and filled his glass with wine.

“No, no,” Crow smiled. “Your little darlings are nearby. Although I can’t see them, I can feel their blades pointed at me. Don’t underestimate the intelligence capabilities of the Japanese Executive Bureau. We have thoroughly studied Miss Thunder, who is the strongest fighter.”

Susie glanced at Lancelot, who nodded.

Susie raised her right hand and three black flashes burst out from the pond beside her. When the people present saw clearly, three willow-leaf-shaped black blades were already clamped between her fingers.

From the moment the crow entered the door, these black knives were suspended in the water, like black water snakes, waiting for their master’s call.

Susie placed the black knife in front of Crow. Crow picked up one and played with it for a moment before throwing it aside and continuing to drink. “More.”

Susie looked at Lancelot again.

“Mr. Saeki has shown his sincerity by daring to walk into this courtyard empty-handed. There is really no need for us to draw swords.” Lancelot raised his glass and clinked it with the crow.

Susie nodded and raised her hand again. Black blades shot out from all directions at the crows. They spun and screamed, like ghosts crying. But the crows didn’t dodge at all. When he and Lancelot put down their glasses, the table was full of black knives.

Crow nodded and slowly sat up straight. “Some say that among the new generation of the Secret Party, the Watcher is a strategist second only to Caesar and Abdullah Abbas. You seem to be the most reasonable guy among them. I would like to discuss a business deal with you.”

“Lu Mingfei?” Lancelot’s tone was flat, without any excitement in his voice.

“Yes, I know where that Dragon King-level idiot is. I can help you, but I have some conditions.” Crow sighed.

“To be honest, I’m surprised to hear you say this, Mr. Saeki.” Lancelot said he was surprised, but his tone was still calm.

“I followed the head of the family back then. I shouldn’t betray the head of the family’s friends, right?”

Lancelot nodded. “Kicking down the door and charging in with the Japanese Executive Bureau would be more like your style, Mr. Saeki.”

“Honestly, I really wanted to do that.” The crow slowly raised its head and looked into Lancelot’s eyes. “If I can survive, it will be something I will be proud of for the rest of my life. You know, when old rogues like to tell people stories about how they stood up for their friends in their youth.”

“I understand. To Mr. Saeki, Chairman Lu Mingfei is a very important person and an important memory.”

“Yeah, if Sakura were still alive and knew that I did this, she would probably ignore me for the rest of her life.” Crow said this, turned his head and glanced at Fujiwara Nobunosuke.

Fujiwara no Nobunosuke was already extremely nervous, and when the crow’s gaze swept over him, he instinctively jumped up and stood straight, like a child waiting for instructions from his teacher.

“Thank you, Mr. Fujiwara. You convinced me.” Crow nodded slightly and turned his gaze back. “If I want to save Lu Mingfei, I must cooperate with you.”

“I don’t know how Mr. Fujiwara persuaded you,” Lancelot said. “According to Mr. Fujiwara, you scared him into running back in the middle of his speech.”

“Lu Mingfei is losing himself. It seems that there is a will more powerful than his own controlling his body, something… like a demon.” Crow said softly, “The sentence that touched me most about Mr. Fujiwara Nobunosuke was that if I don’t stop this in time, I might be helping that demon.”

“Demon?” Lancelot raised his eyebrows.

“Lu Mingfei himself admitted that there was something like a demon, and he was even prepared to destroy himself along with that demon if necessary.”
