This is the demons in hell biting each other.

Iron swords and sharp claws tore through the air, leaving traces of frost and flames. As soon as the blood splashed out, it turned into blood-red steam by the high temperature. The shock waves went back and forth in the long corridor. There was no intact glass left, and even the building was shaking.

Both sides were repeatedly injured, all of which were fatal injuries to internal organs and bones, but their powerful regenerative ability was always at work, repairing the broken tendons, bones and internal organs, forcing them to reassemble so that they could once again engage in brutal battles.

The sharp claws cut the wall, along with the steel bars inside, but were successfully dodged by the sword-wielder. The sword-wielder seized the brief opportunity to attack, and raised the iron sword with a whistling sound, and large amounts of blood splashed onto the ceiling. However, the sharp claws also took the opportunity to grab his ribs, pierced the shroud, and then penetrated the muscles, piercing into the sword-wielder’s liver or kidney.

The two suddenly separated, stumbling backwards until their backs collided with the wall. They slowly sat down, their backs against the wall, leaving large stains of blood on the wall, as if wiped with a rag. Their lava-colored golden eyes gradually dimmed, like a candle about to go out in the wind.

Silence, except for the crackling of the fire burning the building materials.

The two monsters seemed to be dead… However, suddenly a heavy and slow drumbeat was heard in the corridor. The two competing drumbeats became more and more dense and louder, and finally the whole corridor was vibrating with the drumbeats.

That was the heartbeat of the monsters! Aided by their powerful bloodline, their stopped hearts began beating again. The monsters opened their eyes simultaneously, their golden pupils blazing, and they let out deafening roars.

The war between kings can only be ended by true death.

The picture froze at this point, and the charging figures of the demons were frozen on the big screen, and the audience exhaled in unison.

When watching the video, they felt as if a heavy stone was pressing on their chests and had difficulty breathing.

“It’s simply a projection of hell on earth.” Professor Schneider whispered.

In the meeting room of Valhalla at Cassell Academy, almost all the secret party leaders were sitting around the conference table, their stern and old faces illuminated by the screen.

“When Abbas and I arrived, the battle was over. Only a mostly demolished building remained.” Caesar looked around at the senators. “We didn’t find any bodies, so we assume they’re all still alive.”

“It’s not like we didn’t find any bodies. We did find the body of the horse, Sleipnis, the eight-legged Pegasus from Norse mythology,” Abbas added. “The medical department has completed the autopsy. It was a subspecies of horse with dragon genes, ferocious enough to kill a lion. It had its heart ripped out before Lu Mingfei could even say hello.”

It was Caesar and Abbas who found this incomplete video footage from the hospital’s surveillance system. They returned to the academy headquarters overnight to report to the elders.

“Is that really Lu Mingfei?” Professor Schneider pointed at the figure with wings on his back on the screen.

“Although the video clarity is low, I can still recognize his irises and confirm that it is Lu Mingfei.” EVA did not appear in the projection, but gave the answer through the loudspeaker.

“What about his opponent? That masked warrior, what is that?” Beowulf asked majestically.

“Odin, the king of the Aesir in Norse mythology, is the god of the sky, death, and war. He is also known as the father of the gods.”

“I know who Odin is,” Beowulf frowned. “I’m asking how something like this from myth could appear in the real world!”

“I can’t answer that question, but his appearance completely matches the description of Odin in Norse mythology: he’s covered in armor, wearing a blue cloak that symbolizes the sky, riding an eight-legged divine horse, and holding a divine spear made from branches of the World Tree.”

“But we see this fellow has an iron sword,” said Mr. Turing.

“We found the remains of the gun and guess it was broken by Lu Mingfei.” Caesar lifted the cloth covering the table, revealing what was underneath.

They were two branches that looked like they had been burned by flames. They were pitch black in color, and the end of one of them was sharpened to form a simple spear head.

“Branches of the World Tree?” Mr. Turing looked at Caesar in confusion.

At first glance, it is hard to believe that this is the weapon of the main god in mythology. It looks more like firewood picked up from someone’s fireplace.

“Please allow me to show you.” Caesar took out a stack of coins from his pocket and placed it next to the two dead branches, then pulled out the pitch-black blade.

He took a deep breath, concentrated his mind, and suddenly let out a short, low roar. He slashed twice, slashing at the dead branch and the stack of coins respectively. Normal eyesight wouldn’t even be able to tell whether he had struck once or twice. He was already a skilled knifeman.

The rumbling sound lingered for a long time, the dead branch remained in its original position, and the stack of coins suddenly collapsed after two seconds. They were perfectly cut open by Caesar until the one at the bottom.

Caesar placed the long sword horizontally on the conference table. “The Gear Department made these tactical swords from titanium-tungsten alloy. I used almost the same amount of force on both blades.”
