“Our young man drank a little too much, so I’m sending him back to rest,” Bunin said, glancing around the box. “Did you see Christina? She’s nowhere to be found. Everyone must have drunk too much tonight.”

“If Miss Christina were in my box, they would probably drink more tomorrow night.” Lu Mingfei said lightly.

Bunin made a slightly lewd face. “Yes, there have been enough wars surrounding our beautiful Christina. Good night, gentlemen, and have a good rest.”

Buning turned and left. Lu Mingfei closed the door and then breathed a sigh of relief.

If Buning came in to chat, he would see the pair of sparkling high heels, and Lu Mingfei would have no time to put them away.

He kicked his high heels back under the bed. Chu Zihang was already asleep. Lu Mingfei turned off the lights, lay back on his bed, and carefully recalled every word Christina had said to him.

He didn’t know who to trust. The journey to Siberia seemed shrouded in mystery. Perhaps the best thing to do was to quietly leave the train when approaching the destination.

“I won’t tell Senior Sister.” Chu Zihang said sullenly, “But this is wrong.”

Lu Mingfei was stunned for a moment, not understanding the meaning of this sentence, until he thought of the pair of high heels under the bed.

“According to that Russian girl, we are basically under the control of the GRU troops?” Su Enxi lay on the bed with her legs spread out.

“Yes, they will just wait for Miss Tina to find evidence that Bunin is smuggling banned weapons, and then they will surround us.” Zero mopped the floor and wiped the dust step by step, performing the duties of a good wife and mother with the noble indifference of Her Royal Highness the Princess.

Every morning, Su Enxi would come in for a quickie under the pretext of cleaning. At night, she slept in the service car, always complaining that the bed there was as hard as iron, so she would take the opportunity to roll around on Zero’s soft bed.

The blinding white light shone in from the window, not only the rising sun, but also the reflection of the sunlight on the snow.

They have already penetrated deep into the heart of Siberia and are galloping across the Central Siberian Plateau.

“It’s probably true. We’ve had a high-speed train about 30 kilometers away for two days. It’s probably a GRU combat armored train. Its firepower could easily destroy us dozens of times.”

“Have you found the information about Miss Tina?”

“It’s exactly as she said. She’s the daughter of the military and political chief of the Tatar Republic. Before she was fifteen, she was a perfect middle school student, like a female version of Chu Zihang. After she turned fifteen, her father suddenly sent her abroad to study. I think she was accepted into the special school of the Federal Security Service and received special training.”

“You don’t seem worried at all.” Zero stopped what he was doing. “If the GRU forces get involved, it will be very troublesome.”

“What do I have to worry about? I know there’s a train chasing us, so how could Bunin not know? This is a route he often runs. If he didn’t even have this little bit of vigilance, the FSB would have caught him long ago. He’s not panicking, so why should I be?” Su Enxi looked out the window. “Compared to this one thing, these are all trivial matters.”

“What’s the matter?” Zero frowned.

“We’re running on a branch line from the Baikal-Amur Railway, a military railway. This railway won’t reach the Arctic Ocean all the way. If we keep running at this speed, we’ll soon see its end.”

“That’s why the FSB couldn’t figure out Bunin’s real destination.”

Su Enxi glanced at her watch and nodded, “To be precise, if we run for another two hours we’ll crash headfirst into a cliff.”

“I pushed open the door, and you absolutely couldn’t imagine the scene. The chief’s palace was actually a shallow pool! At least 100 black beauties were lying naked in the pool. Their skin was as smooth as silk. I bet if they stood up from the water, not a drop of water would stick to them. The chief sat on a golden chair in the middle of the pool. Four women were massaging him, and another four were clipping his fingernails and toenails. The air was filled with the smell of hallucinogens. I didn’t dare breathe deeply for fear of getting high.”

In the dining car, Bunin and Lu Mingfei were having breakfast together, recounting his experiences trafficking arms to Africa. His face was full of excitement. “The chief loaded an ivory-handled revolver in front of me and wanted to play Russian roulette with me. If I lost, I would keep all the goods. If I won, I could take away $8 million worth of rough diamonds. I thought to myself, is this guy crazy? He wants to take my goods and even gamble his life with it.”

Bunin was a good storyteller. In his early years, he traveled all over the country selling weapons and had many thrilling experiences. But Lu Mingfei really didn’t understand why Bunin invited him to have breakfast with him so early in the morning.

The dining car was empty. The young people had not yet woken up from last night’s hangover, and the air was filled with the smell of alcohol and girls’ perfume.

Lu Mingfei was lost in thought when he suddenly remembered Christina’s back as she ran in the snow with her gauze skirt in hand, like a free and unrestrained elf.

A girl like that wouldn’t lie, right? What was waiting for him at the end of this railway?

“I thought he was trying to trick me, so I laughed and said, ‘How could I gamble my life with you, Chief?'” Then the sexiest girl beside him stood up, took the chief’s gun, and walked over to me, naked in front of me. “The chief said if you win, you can still have this woman.” Bunin continued to spit. “I knew I couldn’t escape. Even if I was willing to give up all the goods, he would shoot me in the back. I could only say that I was honored to play this game with you. The beauty immediately put the gun to her own temple and fired.”

“Oh my God.” Bunin’s story was so wonderful that Lu Mingfei’s scattered thoughts were pulled back.

“I forced myself to make the bet with him, supported only by one belief. I thought the chief wouldn’t want to see such a beautiful woman die, right? She was only sixteen or seventeen, she didn’t want to die, right? So the bullet was actually a dud. The chief wanted to test my courage. If I played this game, I could become his supplier, and there would be countless rough diamonds waiting for me in the future.” Bunin sighed, “But I was wrong. She blew her head off with the third shot.”

Lu Mingfei shuddered. Judging from the expression on Bunin’s face, this didn’t seem to be a horror story, but a real experience.
