Dragon Raja 5

“Hydra?” Caesar whispered, “I never thought such a thing existed in the world.”

Hydra was a nine-headed serpent in Greek mythology. Even the gods found this mythical creature difficult to deal with until the demigod hero Hercules came on the scene and killed it.

Similar creatures appear in myths around the world. In the Classic of Mountains and Seas, it’s called Xiangliu, a nine-headed snake with a human face. After being slain by Dayu, its foul-smelling blood flowed across the earth, and the land was no longer able to produce crops. In Southeast Asia, it’s called Naga, and depictions of five- and seven-headed Naga can be found throughout the film The Condor Heroes. In Japan, it’s called Yamata-no-Orochi, though Caesar never came face to face with it. Biologically, this is a rare genetic mutation, a split cervical vertebrae leading to “multiple head deformity.” While normal animals wouldn’t develop this mutation to this degree, dragon blood is precisely the factor that activates it. This multi-headed serpent may not possess the legendary powers of gods and demons, but as a mutant carrying dragon genes, it’s likely the leader of the group.

It had seen the snow, and the five swaying branches nailed the little girl in the white dress from different directions. It no longer made that angry hissing sound, but instead made a slightly joyful chuckle, but it was obviously unreliable to infer the mood of this thing based on its sound.

Before the five rounds launched their attack, Caesar scooped up Snow, raised his Desert Eagle, and fired a burst of bullets at the snake’s head. Even the heavier bullets failed to penetrate the snake’s skull, but it was forced to dodge. Caesar was a far more accurate marksman than the crew, and several consecutive bullets landed near the snake’s eye sockets.

The crew’s AK47s fired again, and the bulldozer team roared forward, trying to repeat the previous tactics. But the same tactics against opponents of different weights had completely different results. Those steel-like snake necks swung, easily overturning the bulldozers, and their five heads swiftly devoured their prey. The AK47 bullets were no threat to them at all.

The sailors could only shoot blindly and watch their companions being eaten one by one. Long fleshy whiskers grew from the corners of Hydra’s mouth, and they were soon stained red with human blood.

“Stop that thing!” Caesar yelled. “I’ll get the weapon!”

Hydra obviously realized that humans wanted to enter the warehouse behind it, and its huge body blocked the warehouse tightly.

But now it had to focus all its attention on a certain opponent, and it didn’t even stop Caesar from passing by it. The snow was behind the opponent, but even Hydra didn’t dare to go over the opponent to devour the snow.

Abbas lowered his head and stood there quietly, with dazzling lightning flowing all over his body. His pupils were no longer red-gold, and the bright white of the lightning overwhelmed the gold.

Not only him, but the space around him was also highly ionized. The dust in the air sparkled due to the ionization, and from time to time, thin arcs of electricity pierced through the air, connecting from Abbas to the steel bulkhead.

The Word Spirit Indra!

This word spirit, named after the Hindu “god”, Shaktihuan Indra, had always been an unknown word spirit in the archives of the Secret Party before Abdullah Abbas joined the Secret Party.

The history of this word spirit can be traced back to the mythological era. It is the privilege of mythological heroes. However, the specific effects that this word spirit can achieve are vague because the authors of ancient epics like to exaggerate too much. They all use words like “the sun transformed into thunder rises slowly in the midday sky, taking away the light of the sun god”, which all sound like unrealistic empty talk.

It was not until Abbas demonstrated this word in front of the professors that the professors realized that the ancient bards might not be unreliable.

Caesar has always had some regrets about his own words. Although the “Kamaitachi” is very versatile, for the heir of the Gattuso family, it seems that the words of “Indra”, the embodiment of the sword of glory, are more suitable for his identity.

At this moment, the glorious sword was slowly rotating around Hydra. Its owner, Abbas, had his hands empty, but it seemed as if he was holding up the sky with a sword.

Behind him, Snow’s big, empty eyes brightened up because of the purple-white light.

Hydra’s huge body almost completely blocked the door of the warehouse. Among the five swaying heads, three were staring at Abbas, one was watching the snow, and the remaining one was always staring at Caesar.

Its IQ is obviously much higher than that of ordinary giant snakes. Those crew members driving bulldozers and holding AK47s are completely out of its consideration. It is very clear how dangerous the people present were.

Caesar knew why Abbas had released Indra. He had used his thunderbolt-like demeanor to attract Hydra’s attention, giving Caesar access to the warehouse. He wasn’t entirely confident that Indra could kill Hydra; they needed the heavy weapons in the warehouse.

Abbas began to slowly approach Hydra, and the distance between them shortened. Hydra clearly had a retraction movement, just like a human watching a knife slowly stabbing towards his forehead. In its perception, Abbas at this moment was most likely a sharp sword flashing with lightning.

But it immediately began to attack, its long neck stretching and retracting like lightning, and its three heads attacked Abbas from different angles. When it fell, its heavy body looked extremely clumsy, but once the attack began, the three snake heads were like three rapiers, moving out of an arc, like a peerless swordsman with three arms.

Theoretically, no one would dare to withstand such an attack. Not to mention that any one of those huge snake mouths could swallow Abbas in an instant. The huge kinetic energy of the charge alone could knock over a bulldozer.

But Abbas didn’t dodge. Under the horrified gaze of the sailors, Abbas roared and punched the snake’s head accurately. Three consecutive punches, calmly and powerfully repelling the attacks from three directions, the long neck and the snake’s head danced wildly, and the Hydra twitched violently, like a patient suddenly suffering from epilepsy.

All the sailors were intimidated by the momentum of these three punches. Two of them were so shocked that they dropped their guns and were hit on the instep.

What kind of punching power was that? Even an iron wall would be knocked into three deep craters by Hydra, but Abbas didn’t even waver. This guy, who was not sure whether he was of Persian or Arab descent, unleashed a sky-shattering aura in his three punches, like a veteran Tongbiquan boxer!

Only Caesar knew what was happening. This was not the first time he had witnessed Abbas’s words. Every time Abbas’s punch hit the snake’s head, a short and intense flash of light would burst out… It was lightning!
