What they saw was enough to scare most people in the world. They were indeed standing in the top-floor restaurant of the Regent Hotel, but outside the floor-to-ceiling windows was the vast ocean, with sunshine shining on the sea and white sails looming in the distance.

They were clearly on the top floor of a building, but the waves were almost level with the ground, as if the sea had already submerged the city while they were in the elevator.

The boss’s advice is always right; you should wear a swimsuit to a lunch meeting like this.

A young man in a white suit sat at the table, leisurely drinking a glass of champagne and gazing at the waves outside the window.

Seeing Su Enxi and Jiude Mai coming in, he showed a bright smile, walked up quickly and gave them a gentle hug, led them to the table, pulled out chairs for them, and poured them chilled vintage champagne.

“First of all, we have to commend Mai. If it weren’t for Mai, that guy Finger would have been eaten like tuna by the Deadpools, right?” The boss picked up the wine glass.

“Boss, you said he’s within our protection, so I have to do my best,” Jiude Mai smiled, “but he’s a pervert who can cut through an overpass with one sword. He’s hiding very well, and maybe he has other ways to escape without me.”

“Secondly, I want to congratulate Enxi.” The boss raised his glass again.

“Congratulations for what?” Su Enxi looked at him through the golden wine.

“Congratulations on your successful weight loss. You look so beautiful in this swimsuit. But I have to say that the shoes don’t suit you. Your temperament suits Jimmy Choo.” The boss began to comment on the shoes on Su Enxi’s feet. “Trust my taste. Jimmy Choo is a perfect match for you. I will buy you the latest model and you will receive it tomorrow.”

Su Enxi rolled her eyes. She had no intention of discussing clothing issues with her psychotic boss. She knew her boss’s habits very well. Every time this man appeared, he was here to assign tasks.

The boss just opens his mouth and the people below him have to run around.

Recently, the tasks he assigned have become more and more difficult, and he has forced Su Enxi and Jiude Mai into life-or-death situations several times.

“Can you give me a chance to live this time, boss?” Su Enxi raised her glass of champagne. “Destroying the world is certainly a great goal, but it has to be done step by step, right?”

“No.” The boss smiled brightly. “Our Enxi is so smart, of course we have to give her the most difficult questions!”

“From your tone, have you been watching Korean dramas recently?”

“The place I’ve been to recently plays Korean dramas all day long. I want to change the channel, but they won’t give me the remote control,” said the boss with emotion.

This is a very strange sentence.

In terms of abilities, the one most similar to the boss is Doraemon, who can let them walk through a door and reach a tropical beach, but he makes it sound like he has no freedom of movement.

But he said this so sincerely that it was hard not to believe that he had really been forced to watch Korean dramas for a long time.

“Destroy EVA?” Su Enxi said.

The boss held his forehead and said, “Can you please stop being so violent, destroying this or killing that? Come up with some positive solutions, positive energy!”

Su Enxi raised her eyebrows, “Boss, do you mean that you want us to protect that loser and help him escape?”

“That’s right!” The boss snapped his fingers. “When you encounter mountains, you’ll cut a path through them; when you encounter rivers, you’ll build bridges!”

Su Enxi paused for a moment, a rare moment of silence. “If the Elders mobilize the entire Secret Party to hunt him down, I’m not sure how long I can protect him.”

“Do your best to buy him some time. This escape won’t be endless. Protect him to the end. From then on, it’s his own business.”

“Boss, do you know where he’s going to escape to?”

The boss shook his head. “I don’t know. I only know that no matter which direction he flees, he will eventually encounter the Iron Throne.”

He stood up, walked to the window and looked at the sea which had suddenly become turbulent. The waves hit the glass with thunderous force, shattering into powder. The continuous roar was like Wagner’s overture.

Jude Mai suddenly stood up and walked to the boss’s side, “Your hand?”  

The boss was holding a glass of champagne in his hand. When his arm hung down, drops of blood from his sleeve fell into the glass, gradually dyeing the wine bright red.
