Dragon Raja 5; Chapter 335: For Your Majesty (150)

Dragon Raja 5

This was a newly born Siegfried. Her bloodline advantage can even suppress Chu Zihang. She should be treated as a dangerous target and destroyed immediately, otherwise she was the key to open the gates of hell.

The experiment was a success. When the door opened, countless hybrids like these would poured out, a disaster more terrifying than the arrival of dragons.

Lu Mingfei gripped the short curved blade tightly, wanting to die together with his opponent before his heart was torn apart.

But before the thought even crossed her mind, Christina kicked his knife away. Her intelligence and learning ability also far surpassed those of ordinary mixed-race individuals, even though she was still a child.

Chu Zihang roared as he stood up, ignoring the blood spurting from his chest and abdomen. But Christina merely glanced at him coldly, then abruptly tightened her grip, pulling a bloody object from Lu Mingfei’s chest. Lu Mingfei slowly leaned back, collapsing into his own pool of blood.

Chu Zihang stood there blankly, tears welling up silently, probably without even realizing it himself.

He rushed forward, not to Christina, but to hug Lu Mingfei tightly, bursting into tears, crying, “Senior brother, sister is still waiting for you!”

That was the sorrow of a fifteen-year-old boy who had lost someone important once again, a man who was like an older brother to him, a man who was not afraid to go to the ends of the earth.

“Can you fucking stop mentioning your senior sister all the time?” Lu Mingfei coughed up two mouthfuls of blood, wincing in pain.

The pain was excruciating, reaching the very depths of his bones, like being hung from an iron tree in hell. The fact that he still retained his sanity wasn’t due to extraordinary strength, but rather because he had grown accustomed to it. He was now a man who had faced countless dangers; the fierce battle with Chu Zihang in the hospital had left him with far more severe injuries.

This indicates that the pain receptors have resumed functioning, and the body knows he won’t die immediately. It’s using intense pain to tell him, “Stop the bleeding and get to the hospital quickly, or you’re going to die!”

Christina appeared on another steel cable as if by teleportation, looking down at the thing she had pulled from Lu Mingfei’s chest.

That wasn’t a heart, but a blood-stained yellow diamond, as dazzling as her pupils.

It was the only keepsake her mother had left her, which she gave to Lu Mingfei as a bargaining chip at the auction. Lu Mingfei accepted it, but never intended to use it; he had plenty of money. He wore the yellow diamond as a pendant around his neck to avoid losing it.

It’s possible that she originally intended to tear Lu Mingfei’s heart apart, but accidentally discovered the yellow diamond, or that she was originally after the yellow diamond but used too much force and pierced Lu Mingfei’s heart.

But regardless, that yellow diamond was something important to her, reminding her of something, or perhaps filling her with a faint sadness. The grotesque, bloodthirsty monster drooped its long eyelashes, its beauty terrifying.

Chu Zihang picked up the longsword Lu Mingfei had dropped, crossed the two swords together, and knelt before Lu Mingfei. He immediately activated his third level of Blood Explosion, his bones cracking slightly as he let out a low roar.

This was his last trump card. Severely injured, he was powerless to fight against that terrifying opponent without unleashing his full blood potential.

She sighed softly. Just moments before she could only hiss like a wild animal, then she learned to whistle, and now she had even learned to sigh—a sound unique to humans.

“Don’t go near her,” Finger warned sternly. “She’s not human.”

That’s right. It’s not only humans who can make human voices. She regained her human memories, but that doesn’t mean she’s still the Christina she used to be, because she obtained the heart of a dragon.

Throughout history, humanity has dreamed of achieving physical sainthood or becoming a god, yet few have considered whether the physical body of a god would still be their own.

When you are immortal, possess divine power, and can cause mountains to crumble and the earth to split with a wave of your hand, and when all mankind kneels at your feet in awe and begs for mercy, you will lose the sorrow, fear, grief, and regret that come with being human.

Even if you retain all the memories from back then, can you still be considered the person you were back then?

What the mastermind behind the scenes wants is precisely this kind of powerful, terrifying, and invincible product. If she’s still trapped in her past memories, crying and begging to go home to find her mother, what’s the point of such a product?

Christina gave Chu Zihang a cold look. With a swift movement, two sharp claws shot out from her right index finger and thumb. Chu Zihang parried with lightning speed, but all he could do was sever the two claws; he couldn’t stop the severed front halves from piercing his shoulders. The immense force of the severed claws pulled him backward, causing him to fall onto Lu Mingfei.

Both of them coughed up large amounts of blood and tried to stand up, supporting each other, but they both slipped and fell because the blood-stained ground was too slippery.

Christina did not continue the pursuit. She turned around and walked along the steel cable to the end of the pier, perhaps because the two opponents behind her were not worth her time.

“What’s going on? What on earth is going on? A single dose of serum can elevate a low-level hybrid to this level?” Lu Mingfei asked hoarsely. “If this were mass-produced, how would anyone survive?”

“I don’t know either. There’s no record of it in my database, but that serum was definitely not ordinary,” Finger said. “Her class was close to that of a next-generation species.”

“Where is she going?” Chu Zihang asked.

“How the hell am I supposed to know she’s at least S-rank and I’m just F-rank? If I suddenly acquired a top-tier bloodline, I’d definitely go to a place overflowing with beautiful women and help the people there restore the monarchy,” Finger said.

What an inopportune joke; even Lu Mingfei couldn’t be bothered to pay it any mind.

“If we can’t capture her, she’d better get out of here as soon as possible and not fall into the hands of anyone.” Finger finally said something meaningful.

Humming the whistle she had just learned, Christina went further and further away. The whistle was clear and melodious, like a girl walking in the woods at dawn, but every step left bloody footprints on the steel cable.

“Christina, Christina!” Someone crawled out from the pile of corpses and struggled to reach Christina’s back, but he couldn’t even get up, let alone reach the girl who was high above him.

That was Alexander Bunin. Lu Mingfei watched him fall to the ground after being shot, but perhaps his sturdy build shielded him from some of the fatal bullets, and he miraculously survived.
