Dragon Raja 3

Four whole bowls of tonkotsu ramen, and three of them disappeared into Finger’s mouth in the blink of an eye, with even the broth completely devoured.

The waiter had the kitchen fire up the stove again for this order. He didn’t realize that BasaraKing and Ukyo had already eaten their midnight snack, so he also prepared a meal for the two top hosts, and since Sakura was a close friend of the hosts, she got to enjoy the late-night meal too.

When the four bowls of ramen were served, Finger was touched. “So thoughtful, so thoughtful! They knew one bowl wouldn’t be enough for me, so they brought four at once. Oh, and I’d like four orders of tempura shrimp, please. Two servings of miso soup will do.”

The waiter, bewildered, looked at Caesar for confirmation. Caesar nodded slightly, signaling him to comply. The waiter bowed deeply and said, “Understood, senpai,” before rushing off to the kitchen. This was the level of service reserved for the club’s top hosts, and Caesar felt as if he were still part of the student council.

Finger rummaged through the liquor cabinet and grabbed a bottle of whiskey, gulping down the fiery alcohol while stuffing his face with ramen. He didn’t even have time to talk to his junior brothers.

“I’m alive again!” he said after gulping down the last bit of broth. Sitting up straight, he rubbed his stomach, wearing a blissful smile like that of a newborn baby.

“How about a bath?” Caesar suggested.

Finger reeked so badly it was as if he had been fermenting in a garbage dump, and even the combined scent of the three hosts’ cologne couldn’t mask it.

“Let me take it slow, let me take it slow.” Finger leaned against the bar and slowly stood up. “I ate too fast, I’m stuffed.”

“There’s still a bowl of noodles left, and you also ordered tempura shrimp and miso soup,” Chu Zihang said.

“That’s for the next meal. Let me take it slow, go to the restroom, and I’ll make space for the tempura and miso soup.”

He wasn’t boasting—when it comes to being a foodie, he’s been Cassell College’s number one expert for the past decade.

“It’s really great to see you guys. I’ve never felt so genuinely that you’re my brothers,” Finger’s eyes gleamed ingratiatingly, like a dog that just got a big meat bone and was looking gratefully at its owner. “You all look fantastic, and your outfits are especially sharp.”

Except for Lu Mingfei’s backless, sexy suit, Caesar was wearing a purple velvet suit jacket with red suspenders over his chest, no shirt underneath, completely bare. Chu Zihang wasn’t much better; none of the uniforms in this place were normal.

“Chairman, your outfit has a real Italian flair, those red suspenders are just so sexy! Only someone with chest muscles like yours can pull it off. That firmness reminds me of Alexander McQueen’s designs. Only you could bring such power to McQueen’s style! And President, your look is stunning too, with that elegant Eastern charm. I can’t even describe it—sultry yet dignified!” Finger clicked his tongue in admiration. “As for you, Lu Mingfei, you’re the embodiment of charisma! That backless look suits you perfectly—celebrities walking the red carpet in Cannes are all going for that backless trend!”

“Can you speak normally?” Lu Mingfei rubbed his forehead.

“You guys are totally over-the-top…”

“When we get back, this never happened!” The three of them simultaneously leaned forward, pressuring Finger, like three hungry tigers about to pounce on a helpless lamb.

Finger tightened his shoulders and smiled cautiously, “How could I? Us paparazzi work for whoever pays us. I ate your ramen, so I’ll keep your secret… But I’m serious, Caesar, I’ve never seen you look so handsome. That host club vibe suits you perfectly. I think you’ve found your second wind in life.”

Caesar began to think that silencing this guy for good might be the safest option.

“Let’s focus on the task at hand,” Chu Zihang said. “Now that we finally have a fourth person in Japan, can we find anyone else?”

“The Japan Division has already betrayed us,” Caesar explained to Finger. “We’re completely cut off right now and can’t contact Norma.”

“What’s worse is that the Japan Division might have uncovered the secret of the White Empress’ remains, and there’s still a chance those remains could revive. They’re slowly incubating within Japan, and they already have the ability to move on their own!” Lu Mingfei added. “We’re enduring all this just to investigate that matter.”

“You’re dressed so well, you have food, and women are throwing themselves at you—how is that enduring anything?” Finger snorted in disdain. “I already knew everything you said. I’ve long known the Japan Division wasn’t trustworthy!”

“How do you know that?” Chu Zihang was a little surprised.

The fact that the Japan Division was actually a yakuza organization was top-secret information within Cassell College. Finger’s security clearance was only F, so he shouldn’t have access to classified files like this.

“You think I came to Japan just for an internship?” Finger smiled smugly. “The Yamata no Orochi family always believed they were the true rulers of Japan and were never content to serve as a mere division under the college. The only reason they haven’t betrayed until now is because they fear one man.”

“The Principal?” Caesar understood.

“Yes. In their eyes, the college is just a group of educators, except for the Principal. They see him as a thug, a thug dressed in suits and driving sports cars. If the Japanese don’t behave, the Principal will teach them a lesson with a folding knife, and if they resist, he’ll switch to a rocket launcher,” Finger said. “The Japanese worship violence, so they fear the Principal but don’t dislike him.”

After imagining Anjou holding a rocket launcher, the three of them nodded in agreement. Anjou was exactly that kind of person—dressed like a proper gentleman, exuding grace, but you always felt he might pull out a rocket launcher and point it at your forehead at any moment.

“But the Principal knows he can’t maintain control over the Japan Division just with personal authority, so he’s been sending people, under the guise of internships, to infiltrate Japan over the years. I’m one of those infiltrators. My job is to gather intelligence on the Yamata no Orochi family.” Finger swept back his long hair. “Did you really think I came to Japan just to admire pretty legs? You underestimated me!”

“What kind of intelligence did you gather?” Caesar asked.
