Dragon Raja 3

“Can I get a goodbye kiss before we part? I’m flying to America tomorrow for negotiations, and with a kiss from BasaraKing, I can conquer anything!” the woman swayed like a reed in the wind as she stood by the door.

“Would a falling sakura blossom suffice?” Caesar asked.

“You heartless man!” Ms. Mikasa closed her eyes.

Caesar wrapped his arm around her waist. With a snap of his fingers, the bag-carrying doorman stepped forward and planted a tender kiss on her cheek. Slowly, Ms. Mikasa opened her eyes, locking gazes with the radiant young gentleman before her, their eyes filled with deep emotion.

“This world is so cruel, but because of you, it’s beautiful!” The woman instantly regained her commanding presence, adjusted her collar, and strode confidently to her car. “Wait for me—I’ll defeat those German and French suppliers and come back for you!”

As she left with such determination, the trio of hosts waved her off like swaying willows. She glanced at them in the rearview mirror, filled with the resolve to protect these flower-like men.

Caesar clapped his hands. “Shift’s over, let’s close up!”

Humans are like that. Once they’ve broken past their lower limits, they become fearless, and everything becomes second nature. Initially, Caesar had been all about playing the princely brute, but now he had learned to balance toughness with gentleness, even occasionally asking to be cared for. When guests saw this sunny man requesting sympathy, their hearts melted, and they’d spend lavishly on drinks to support Caesar’s earnings. After a few practice rounds, Caesar had mastered this skill to perfection, reaching a level of seamless charm and serenity. He was more than willing to release his charm to comfort those poor women starved for affection, a style that aligned perfectly with Takamagahara’s “Male Host Floral Path.” Lu Mingfei thought that given enough time, Caesar would surely earn the title of “Top Flower of XX Male Hosts.”

Even Chu Zihang had made significant progress, no longer the uncouth novice he once was. Though he still didn’t rely on much more than a cold face when interacting with guests, Lu Mingfei figured that Chu Zihang wasn’t doing it for any special reason—he was simply dedicated to whatever he did.

“Brothers, I think I’ve found family…” someone muttered, shivering at the bottom of the steps.

“Nani? What? Is this an illusion? It must be an illusion!” Lu Mingfei seriously thought to himself, convinced that he was hearing his useless senior brother’s voice because he missed him too much.

But why would he miss his useless senior brother so much? Could it be the longing for redemption deep in his heart?

Covering his face, he was about to slip away. Please, heavens, don’t let him run into his useless senior brother here, especially not in this outfit. He had changed into his work uniform upon returning to the club: a black pinstripe suit, a white lace shirt, a purple bow tie at the collar… but the problem was, his back was completely exposed…

If his useless senior brother saw him in this getup, Lu Mingfei would undoubtedly become the laughingstock of the entire college. He would never live it down, even ten years after graduation, the story would still be told…

That useless senior brother… he’s the king of paparazzi!

“You guys don’t recognize me, huh?” The man continued, shaking, “If you don’t, I’ll take photos and post them online.”

Lu Mingfei hung his head. Dignity, reputation—let them drift away in the wind. A real man takes responsibility for his actions. After all, at least he was selling his skills, not his body. He could still claim he was unsullied despite being in the mire. The three of them bowed their heads together, standing in the rain like a trio of drenched, defeated dogs.

Finger slicked back his hair and pointed to the host at the entrance. “I’m looking for a job. Can you give me a recommendation?”

“Two things,” Lu Mingfei held up two fingers. “First, this is a mission requirement; second, it’s not just me working as a host here—Boss and Chu Zihang are too!”

What’s the meaning of ‘teammates’? Teammates share the hardships together and dive in headfirst.

“I know, just looking at you three, I can tell. You’re all dressed so beautifully, with such trendy hairstyles, everyone looks so polished. Could you stop showing off already?” Finger said pitifully. “Can I eat something first?”

Lu Mingfei thought to himself, I’m not showing off, could you please get the facts straight before you start whining. But he still held back and asked patiently, “How did you end up here? How did things get this bad?”

“How should I know?” Finger sighed deeply. “Wasn’t I just interning? I chose Japan for my internship. I figured there were hot springs and cute girls walking around in short skirts all year long… I really didn’t do anything bad. Every day, I logged in on time, did my daily tasks, and wrote reports. But then one morning, I couldn’t log in anymore. I called the college, but the call wouldn’t go through. I sent emails—no one replied. My credit card got blocked, the safe houses were unusable, and the people from the Japan branch started hunting me down! I’ve been wandering for two weeks, digging through garbage for food every day!” He clung to Lu Mingfei’s arm, looking like he could collapse at any moment. “Don’t worry, just give me something to eat first. I won’t say a word when we get back to the college. Look at me, starving like this—don’t you know people mock poverty, not prostitutes?”

“You really don’t know anything?” Lu Mingfei couldn’t believe it. He thought, It’s good that the college still has some forces left in Japan, but if all they’re doing is consuming resources, what’s the point?

“I really don’t know anything. I didn’t do anything wrong, but the Japan branch is chasing me… Do you think it has something to do with that time I patted the female secretary’s butt when you took me on a tour of the office? The Japanese aren’t that conservative and uptight, are they?” Finger seemed to suddenly remember.

Although Lu Mingfei really wanted to kick him in the face, seeing him in this state made them all feel bad. He quickly helped Finger into the club and sat him down at the bar. Caesar asked the staff to bring him a towel to wipe his face, while Chu Zihang poured him a cup of warm water.

“Brothers…” Finger’s eyes were almost filled with tears.

“You got caught up in our mess,” Lu Mingfei said. “It’s a long story, I’ll explain it to you slowly.”

“Brothers…” Finger sighed.

“We’re not doing much better than you, to be honest…” Lu Mingfei sighed as well.

“Enough with the nonsense! How many times do I have to say it? Are you going to get me something to eat or not?” Finger couldn’t hold it in any longer. He leapt up and roared like a lion, “Are you trying to starve me to death and silence me?!”
