Chisei paused. “When did you book it?”

“I booked it through the Mint Club while we were on the plane. To book out a top-tier club, you need to make arrangements in advance. Mint Club also needs time to organize. Last-minute bookings won’t work.”

“So you planned on going all along?”

“Yes. I heard Japanese host clubs are the best in the world. While I’m not interested in men, I won’t miss out on anything top-notch.”

“Gen-kun, you still don’t understand him enough. Going to a host club for a party is just normal entertainment for someone like him. We only need to worry about whether there’ll be enough champagne.” Chu Zihang said. “Regardless of the bet’s outcome, he was going to drag you to the host club to drink with him.”

Chisei fell silent. He once again felt that coming to meet these people in person was a mistake. No matter how much he struggled, he couldn’t keep up with these lunatics’ rhythm. “They’re only after the three of us? You were standing on the roof just now—they didn’t get your photo?” Caesar asked.

“Do you remember I deliberately let my hair down? I used it to cover my face,” Sakura said.

“Sounds fantastic!” Caesar nodded approvingly.

“Boss, your focus is completely wrong! The point is that the three of us are wanted now!” Lu Mingfei cried out, “We’re wanted criminals, and we didn’t even do anything!”

“Being wanted isn’t a big deal. More than half of the people in the Japanese branch have been wanted at some point,” Chisei said calmly. “I bet headquarters didn’t tell you what kind of institution the Japanese branch really is before you left, did they?”

“What kind of institution?” Lu Mingfei was puzzled.

“Go back and ask Norma. She’s better suited to answer that question than we are.”
