Dragon Raja; Chapter 103: Little Brother (12)

Dragon Raja

The researchers did not understand what he meant and continued to applaud. The scientists from the Interdisciplinary Research Department of Cassell Academy all felt extremely honored. They were invited as the elite among the elites to participate in this epoch-making dissection and witness this great moment in the history of science. Everyone was extremely excited.

“Principal, what’s going on with the gap on the copper jar?” Someone discovered that the upper part of the copper jar was cracked, and the black crack extended all the way into the interior of the jar.

“It’s possible that Professor Mance from the Executive Department used ‘grey tin solution’ on him. This is a liquid we obtained from an ancient Egyptian tomb. It is the only liquid that can melt this alchemical material so far.” The principal hesitated for a moment, “Why don’t we start an MRI scan on it first?”

The MRI scan was started immediately, and the results of the three-dimensional restoration were displayed on the huge screen. In an instant, everyone’s face changed.

A huge chill descended upon everyone’s heart, and they realized that they had been too optimistic too early.

“Two cavities…” someone whispered.

“A cavity…” someone else said.

The structure inside the copper jar was clearly visible. The interior of the copper jar was divided into two halves. In one half, there was curled up a human skeleton, and in the other half… it was empty.

That disturbing crack is right above the cavity!

“Something… escaped from inside!” Someone’s voice began to tremble.

“How come?” the principal asked in a low voice.

No. 13 poked his head out in confusion, not understanding why these people were silent.

At this moment, he was an assistant lab worker wearing a mask and preparing dissection equipment. His journey was too smooth. After following the sign of “Ice Cellar” and walking around for a long time, he entered a space that looked like a laboratory. He saw a group of men taking a shower and discussing something excitedly. No. 13 heard them discussing the copper pot and realized that he was too lucky today. No one could see each other’s faces in the steaming heat, so No. 13 took off all his clothes and took a shower with them.

A dozen naked men were walking around in the steam, and No. 13 even greeted a few of them when they passed by.

After showering, the men took out sterile suits from sealed plastic bags and put them on from head to toe. The protection was so tight that it seemed as if they were going to a virus laboratory or even to land on the moon.

No. 13 realized that this was his perfect opportunity, so he enthusiastically went up and knocked out a guy who was about the same height as him, took his ID card and pinned it on his chest, and put on his suit.

Then he entered the sealed laboratory made entirely of glass, took off his mask and drank a glass of celebratory champagne. He was a casual person. After all, they handed him a cart full of dissection equipment, and he touched the equipment here and there. When people applauded, he also applauded. No one paid attention to him, only the brass pot in the glass cavity.

“In any case, the autopsy continues.” The principal raised his hand. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I can’t wait an hour to get this important information.”

The researchers began to applaud again. The principal’s calmness and determination in unexpected situations were always so convincing.

“Are the dissection equipment ready?” asked the principal.

No. 13 raised his hand hastily. He was pushing a completely non-metallic cart, on which were displayed transparent scalpels, saws, scissors made of nanomaterials, as well as other tools that No. 13 couldn’t name.

“For safety reasons, only the person in charge of the autopsy can enter. The others will be outside to record.” The principal turned to No. 13 with an expectant look, “Are you ready?”

No. 13 could only nod. He didn’t know what the Dragon King was, but he was sure that the knowledge he learned about dissecting frogs in high school biology class was not enough for him to deal with this level. Fortunately, he still had his sawed-off shotgun and a few soaked ammunition stuffed under his sterile suit. This gave him a little more confidence.

In fact, he wanted to just turn around and run away, because he didn’t seem to have enough strength to move the valuable copper pot by himself. However, between the glass wall outside and the quartz glass chamber inside, he could only see a vague shadow of the copper pot, which was not enough for him to accumulate enough materials to brag about the 5 million US dollars.

He had to go through the dangers and dangerous places!

The principal patted him on the shoulder, and the hatch leading to the cryogenic laboratory inside slid open. The white vapor of evaporating liquid nitrogen rushed out and hit the mask, making No. 13 feel cold.

He walked into the cryogenic chamber and all he saw was white. Bright blue lights were flickering all around. In the center was the oval quartz glass chamber with a huge copper tank inside. Liquid nitrogen vapor filled the air beneath his feet.

For a moment he had the illusion that he was standing on an endless snowy plain, and heard a low voice calling from a distance beyond his sight, “Brother.”
