Dragon Raja 2; Chapter 198: Deadly Sword for Every Dragon King (10)

Dragon Raja 2

A Viper broke through the domain and flew in, shrieking as it swung its scythe-like claws at Caesar’s face before it could be shattered.

A black blade sliced through the air, cutting it down. The black hunting knife was in Parsi’s hand—identical to Caesar’s “Dictator,” except for the inscription: “Augustus.”

Twin works by the same craftsman, named after the titles of Caesar and Octavian: “Dictator” and “Augustus.”

The superimposed domains showed signs of instability, and more Vipers squeezed in. A massive Viper queen was writhing its nine necks, trying to break through the domain’s fissure.

“Dictator” and “Augustus” clashed together, the two hunting knives beginning to resonate. When they parted again, a web-like purple filament appeared in the middle, like static discharging in the air.

A new domain was activated, causing all Vipers within to convulse and fall.

An alchemy domain!

In the domain of death, molten iron coalesced into a tornado of steel, wrapped in blinding arcs of electricity, striking Lu Mingfei head-on. Coal slag burned, molten iron melted, and by the time it reached Lu Mingfei, it was a river of molten iron.

Lu Mingfei—or rather, the real Lu Mingze—moved forward against the torrent of molten iron. It was as if there were invisible blades before him, splitting the stream in two, flowing past him on either side. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, casually spitting it into his hand, smiling as he continued forward. He wiped the blood on the “Seven Deadly Sins” behind him. The blades trembled as if seven living dragons had awakened. The scabbard popped open, mechanisms sliding out and spreading slowly, like the brilliant tail feathers of a peacock. “Wrath” quivered, letting out a deep, resonant roar as if it would fly into the air.

“The bloodline of every king shall end by the sword!” Lu Mingze said softly.

At that moment, the dragon and Lu Mingze charged towards each other simultaneously. Lu Mingze’s twin swords, “Lust” and “Gluttony,” flashed as they were unsheathed, glowing with a crimson and molten gold hue, extending into ten-span long swords.

Futsunomitama!

Ame-no-Habakiri!

With his human body, Lu Mingze reached the speed that Chu Zihang had achieved after dragon transformation. He himself became a blade, cutting through the domain of death. The dragon roared and charged, wings swept back. The massive creature exploded forward with unimaginable speed, the air vibrating violently, flames forming a sonic cone behind him. He broke the sound barrier, and an identical sonic cone appeared behind Lu Mingze. Their speeds were evenly matched, clashing at supersonic speed.

The air between them was compressed to the limit, a hurricane-force wind of 250 kilometers per hour swept through the entire space. Amid thunderous sonic booms, the two sides collided. With equivalent speed and a body weighing tens of tons, the dragon held an absolute advantage. Lu Mingfei was forced backward by the dragon’s tremendous momentum. The dragon spread his wings, gliding just above the ground. Winds and thunder roared beneath his wings, stones and sand flying everywhere. The dragon’s attack on Lu Mingze was like a giant whale pouncing on a salmon, able to destroy the opponent merely with the water it churned up. The Dragon King pushed Lu Mingze back against the rock wall, lifting his head and roaring, causing the wall to crack under the impact.

The Dragon King suddenly fell to his knees. He didn’t kneel voluntarily—he was Fenrir, the Dragon King, and would kneel to no one. But bronze-colored broken bones protruded from the front of his knees. “Lust” and “Gluttony” were embedded in his kneecaps. At the moment of impact, Lu Mingze had destroyed the dragon’s forelimbs!

“You shall repay your transgression with pain!” a cold voice echoed from the rock wall.

The wall collapsed, fragments falling everywhere. Lu Mingze darted out like a ghost, his hands reaching behind him. “Greed” and “Sloth” were unsheathed, and he swung at the dragon’s head. The left hand cleaved downwards, splitting the scales as hard as iron; the right hand slashed horizontally, cutting through both eyes and splitting the bridge of the nose. Blood gushed from the cross-shaped wound like magma.

“You shall repay your arrogance with your eyes.” Lu Mingze drove the twin swords into the dragon’s eyes, then stomped down with both feet, forcing the swords deep into the dragon’s skull, where they struck each other, emitting a metallic humming sound.

Next came “Pride” and “Envy.” Lu Mingze moved as lightly as a hunting hawk, stepping on the dragon’s back and severing the base of the dragon’s wings. The enormous membranous wings drooped powerlessly. The dragon, like a volcano erupting with blood, spewed it in such a volume that it turned into steam. He roared, thrashing his segmented, spiny tail, the last weapon he could still wield. The tail twisted like a giant python, the bone spurs at its end gleaming a sharp, bone-white. He was the Lord of Strength, possessing the “Eye” that could find anything. As long as he hit Lu Mingze’s “Eye,” no matter how strong or flexible Lu Mingfei was, he would shatter.

But he couldn’t find Lu Mingze’s “Eye,” because he no longer had eyes himself.

“You shall repay your betrayal with blood.” The ancient Hachiman sword, “Pride,” pierced the bone spur, pinning it to the ground, while the katana “Envy” stabbed through the back of the Dragon King’s head, leaving only the hilt visible. The six swords began to resonate, and the dragon’s entire body ignited with blinding golden flames.

The Alchemy Domain of the King of Bronze and Fire had finally taken shape—a masterpiece left behind by the king of alchemy. It was like an invisible metallic cage, squeezing the dragon’s entire skeletal structure, producing a chilling sound of bones fracturing. The dragon convulsed, roared, and trembled, raising his head in defiance. His own blood stained his fangs red. He had once been a king, but now he was a prisoner, yet he did not wait for mercy. He kept summoning all his strength, attempting to stand.

“So pitiful. You’re still the same child who doesn’t use his brain,” Lu Mingze stood on the dragon’s spine, his figure like a solitary mountain of rugged rock. He watched the dragon’s struggle, neither joyful nor sorrowful. “Wrath” silently slid out of its scabbard, offering the hilt to his hand.

“Ora ora ora ora!” He laughed wildly, running with the enormous zanbato. The gigantic blade looked incredibly disproportionate in his hands, making him look like a tiny doll attached to the hilt.

The zanbato cleaved into the dragon’s spine, and Lu Mingze pushed the enormous blade, severing piece after piece of the dragon’s vertebrae. It was like a god plowing a furrow in the earth, leaving behind a rift. A fountain of blood as high as a person gushed into the air behind him, as if dark red flowers had bloomed on the dragon’s back. The important organ hidden within the vertebrae of this reptile had been destroyed—a detail Chu Zihang had overlooked, allowing Fenrir a chance to fight back. Like dinosaurs, the dragons’ immense bodies couldn’t rely on just a single brain to control all their precise movements, so they hid a secondary brain—a dense nerve ganglion—within their spine!
