Dragon Raja 2; Chapter 192: Deadly Sword for Every Dragon King (4)

Dragon Raja 2

The QQ car used for the raffle in the center of the hall suddenly moved, shaking twice before disappearing! A huge black hole appeared on the ground, and the small car, along with the broken floor tiles, fell straight down into the bottomless abyss.

A turbulent flow surged from the depths of the hole—a combined air current stirred up by countless Kamaitachi’s bony wings. Tang Sen felt a wave of intense vertigo, as the Kamaitachi screeched at ultrasonic frequencies. Thousands, tens of thousands of Kamaitachi screeching together was like an ultrasonic explosion. Tang silently watched the hellish scene before him, imagining the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River—yellow, muddy water tumbling down with a thunderous roar. However, the waterfall before Tang Sen was reversed, gushing upward from the hole and bursting out, each droplet a Kamaitachi, each carrying its razor-sharp claws and millennia of insatiable thirst for blood!

“Windows, air vents, water pipes—all exits must be welded shut with steel plates. There are more of them than we thought.” Tang Sen finished his call, his robe rustled, and his domain expanded with a roar.

Caesar was still in the phone booth.

He couldn’t get out. The only thing visible beyond the glass was Kamaitachi—hundreds, maybe thousands—completely surrounding the booth. It was like a nightmare, with nothing but dry skeletal faces in sight. Every pair of eyes gleamed with ravenous hunger, and they slammed their bodies and clawed furiously at the glass, leaving white scratches and making maddening sounds. At this rate, the phone booth, sturdy as it was, would soon be torn to pieces by the Kamaitachi.

Parsi stood at the railing on the fourth floor, looking up at the bronze-colored vortex in midair—a massive ball of flowers made of thousands of Kamaitachi surrounding the dome. Their claws scraped along the surface of the flower ball, which turned into fine dust and scattered in mere seconds. These creatures in a swarm were as terrifying as army ants. But they weren’t attacking Parsi; Kamaitachi continuously flew out of the vortex, heading for the phone booth where Caesar was, piling layer upon layer around it.

The phone rang, and Caesar hesitated before picking up the receiver.

“Master, it’s me.”

Caesar blinked, “Parsi? You’re actually in China? Then the family has something to do with this ‘incident,’ right?”

“No, this situation has exceeded the family’s expectations. Things are worse than you think. The Dragon King has awakened, and a Yanling comparable to ‘Rhine’ is being released—no one can predict the outcome. The family’s orders are that you must survive.”

“If the family could command these Kamaitachi instead of you, I might have a chance.” Caesar watched as a claw finally cut through the glass—those claws were as sharp as glass cutters.

“They’re after you because of the Philosopher’s Stone mixed with fire elements you’re carrying. They’re not interested in you, but in that power.”

Caesar pulled out the crossbow bolt from his bag, the quartz containing the Philosopher’s Stone glowing with a crimson light. “Then I just need to destroy it.”

“Destroying it will release the fire elements—the concept of ‘burning.’ You’ll likely obliterate everything around you. That’s not the best option,” Parsi said. “You should hand it over to me.”

“Whoever carries this Philosopher’s Stone is bait, right? You originally intended to use it to turn me into bait for a dragon, but instead, you drew in lesser fish.” Caesar said coldly, “If I give you the Philosopher’s Stone, what will you do with it?”

“We underestimated the change in the situation,” Parsi looked down at the massive pit below. “Once you give it to me, you’ll be safe. I have various ways to deal with it—like taking it back to the Kamaitachi’s nest, where I might be able to shoot it at the Dragon King.”

“You really care about my safety, huh? Ready to sacrifice yourself to open up an escape route for me?” Caesar said, snapping off a claw that had pierced through the glass.

“You are the future of the Gattuso family. Without you, there is no Gattuso family.”

“Bastard!” Caesar suddenly roared. “You haven’t even apologized for using me as bait!”

Parsi was stunned, falling silent for a few seconds. “My apologies, young master, for putting you in danger.”

There was a pause on the other end of the line, then Caesar’s voice suddenly became lazy. “Well then, it’s fine. I accept your apology. I’m hanging up now.”

“Young master, give me the Philosopher’s Stone immediately. There are already thousands of Kamaitachi gathering around you!”

“I never said I’d give it to you,” Caesar said coldly. “In fact, I don’t really mind being the bait. With me here, all these things will stay attracted to this spot, isn’t that good?”

He really hung up.

“Caesar!” Parsi shouted.

Caesar made a crazy decision, but he didn’t have the ability to make such a decision. His Yanling was “Kamaitachi,” but it lacked real offensive power. If facing dozens of armed enemies, Caesar might be able to predict their moves before they fired. But this time, he was facing thousands of Kamaitachi. Caesar might have been an excellent sonic radar, but even an F-22 fighter jet couldn’t track thousands of targets at once.

The Kamaitachi were all scratching the surface of the phone booth with their claws, like ants devouring an elephant. The phone booth was shrouded in a cloud of dust—wood splinters and even glass particles from the Kamaitachi’s frenzied clawing. The Philosopher’s Stone to them was like fresh blood to sharks. The phone booth was about to collapse. Parsi tried calling again, but no one answered.

With a deafening crash, the phone booth collapsed, and thousands of Kamaitachi swarmed in. But the dust suddenly expanded, flying like sharp swords. It was as if a high-pressure gas explosion had occurred within the phone booth, blowing away the nearby Kamaitachi. At the same time, a chilling domain spread, pulling in any Kamaitachi that hadn’t escaped in time, turning them into nothing but dust.

As the dust slowly settled, Caesar’s figure gradually emerged. What caught Parsi’s attention were those blinding golden eyes and… the scales opening and closing on his skin!

“Blood Rage” technique—refining the bloodline!

And the Yanling was no longer just Kamaitachi—the swarm of Kamaitachi residing in Caesar’s mind had gone berserk. They were no longer messengers; they too had turned into bloodthirsty raiders. The Yanling had evolved into the offensive “Blooksucking Kamaitachi”!

Parsi seemed to see real and illusionary Kamaitachi crisscrossing through the massive space—biting, fighting, swinging their claws, screaming. This was the battlefield of the ravens, and the man walking out from the dust was clearly their commander!

“Did I ever tell you that Belle Époque is my favorite champagne?” Mai glanced at Chips.
